Sergio would end Quillin quick and break 3G down round by round. Martinez is miles beyond the competition.Comment

You are free to dislike Martinez, of course, but comparing him to Chavez Jr is a bit too much.
Martinez is a dedicated professional and a very good boxer.
As for his resume, he fought and defeated:
- Paul Williams, who has victories over Winky Wright, Sergio Martínez himself, Kermit Cintron, Carlos Quintana, Sharmba Mitchell and Antonio Margarito.
- Kelly Pavlik was The Ring, WBC and WBO Middleweight champion (after beating Jermain Taylor).
-Darren Barker (undefeated when he fought Martinez)
-Sergiy Dzinziruk (former WBO Super Welterweight Champion)
And of course Chavez Jr.
It might not be an ATG resume, but calling him a paper champion is excessive.Comment

No body wants Golovkin !! you got people calling out p4p boxers b4 they call out GGG -shyt I have yet to hear anyone call this dude out - you got cats dropping belts before they'll face GGG... that says alot my friend!! GGG is a combination of always being in position / balance / power like a cross between edwin Valero and Chavez Sr. - watch the tape and get back to me - the only cats I see giving this dude fits are Andre Ward - Golovkin said he can fight from 154 - 168 - i only see a 168 pounder handling him in (SOG - do not sleep on WARD) - I am very high on Galovkin right now his balance puts him in position to deliver, he is very good at his craft and I am anxious to see who's next for him..Comment

Martinez became #1 at MW by beating Kelly Pavlik and Chavez had one of the titles Martinez got stripped for. If you knew about it in a whole, then you would not be talking trash about a guy's career you don't even know about. Quillin and Golovkin are big punchers and like it or not. If you put a guy in the ring with them that can take away or resist their power then they are easily beating. Look at Arthur Abraham, Miguel Cotto, Juan Ma Lopez and others who have been stop or out classed by guys who didn't even have the power they had. What makes Quillin and Golovkin the guys to beat Martinez? who have they beaten? I bet you, if you put Barker and Macklin in with either guy then they will have a tougher fight then Martinez did. Chavez Jr as sucky as a fighter he is can take a punch and am sure he can walk down Quillin but not too sure about Golovkin but beating some Polish guy no one ever heard of to anoint him the boxing assassin is premature at best.Comment

You guys are too funny.......Chavez would beat Quillin and possibly 3G. The size alone would wear them down, especially Quillin. Martinez is demolishing bigger younger............undefeated or nearly undefeated top comp fight after fight. These other guys get hyped up for beating some dude that has like 15 or 20 fights with losses on their records already or who has never fought out of their backyards.
Sergio would end Quillin quick and break 3G down round by round. Martinez is miles beyond the competition.Comment

I have my doubts & concerns for that one.....
