Pirog hasn't even fought more than Jacobs since the Jacobs fight and Jacobs had Cancer! I'm pissed at Pirog because I was expecting him to take his big win and I would get to see more of him because I was very impressed by him till he wound up on the back of a Milk Carton. Pirog is a hell of a fighter but he has got to get some HBO/Showtime exposure now.

The skill level between Pirog and Quillin is apparent. Pirog is a technician in the ring, Quillin is just a power puncher. Quillin doesn't fight like a Cuban!

How does a Cuban fight? If you mean Quillin doesn't fight like many of the boxers raised under the communist system, then you're right; Pete was born and raised in the United States. But if you look at ATGs like the original Kid Chocolate, Kid Gavilan and Jose Napoles, they fought in a different fashion than that cultivated under the Olympic style. Even so, contemporary Cuban boxers like Rigo and Gamboa fight very differently, although they're both from the same system and nation.

This guy is funny. I think it's the promoters who tell these new, young, up and coming boxers to say this stuff. Top Rank and Golden Boy protect all of their fighters. If anything, Quillin and Golovkin is the fight to make at this point for both. Quillin, Golovkin, Gaele and Pirog need to settle who should have a shot at the crown. These young fighters should really read up on the history of all the greats and how they became great.

Kid Chocolate is still a prospect even though he has a belt. GGG looked great in his 1st fight on HBO but yall all need to chill. As far as im concerned it was a German beating the sh_it out of a Polish fighter. Thats been happening since the begining of time. Can he fight someone else 1st before you guys start this GGG lovefest.

It was the same when Pirog knocked out Jacobs and now Rios with Alvarado. People see one great match and automatically they jump on the wagon. Sure I want to see all of them fight but would like to see more of Quillin, Golovkin and especially Pirog. I mean, Pirog went 12 with Ishida and prior posters on here were yelling about Martinez ducking him. Ridiculous.

Matthyse lost two fights by controversial decisions in the hometowns of his opponents. He also dropped both in the fights. You can't really be criticizing him for that, can you? And who says he should have beaten down both those guys? He was the underdog in both those fights. Let's also not pretend like garcia would be favored over alexander or zab--well, maybe zab who looked shot against khan. Alexander is better than garcia. Garcia is pretty much tailor made for matthyse--he's there to be hit. No wonder garcia doesn't want to fight him.
