thats not really the same thing tho..tony was a long time ww champion for 5 years when floyd allegedly ducked him ..rigo got 11 fights for f0ck sake..and we all know nonito cant fight mares and moreno right now or maybe ever coz of the fued between their promoters..The same people who accused Floyd of avoiding Margarito are the EXACT SAME PEOPLE giving Donaire a pass on not fighting Mares/Moreno and Rigondeaux. It all just depends on who someone likes.
The lengths people are going to justify Donaire not fighting Mares/Moreno and Rigondeaux is insane.
And you can tell who doesn't know s**t when they say Rigondeaux needs to prove himself against better fighters, but then refuse to admit that Vazquez Jr and Mathebula had 1 win against a Top 10 SBW combined. Rigondeaux has 2 wins over Top 10 SBW (Cordoba and Ramos) in only 11 fights. But somehow he needs to prove himself like Vazquez Jr and Mathebula did.Comment

Funny that you're asking for Rigo to face someone yet who has Donaire faced since Montiel? Vazquez and Mathebula? What has Vazquez and Mathebula done? Who have they fought? Who else has Donaire fought, Nishioka? Do you really think he was the #1 guy in the division or you're just going by what the media tells you to hype up Donaire?
This is boxing, people get hurt, dropped and/or KO'ed all the time or did you just start watching the sport? Gamboa and Tito used to get dropped all the time. Wladimir Klitschko and Hearns have glass chins. Rigo might have a china chin but right now I blame his lack of punch resistance on being an amateur too long (where he was never stopped or dropped). Bute for example, was dropped and stopped in the amateurs as well as the pros. Same with Sillakh.Comment

I'm calling bull**** on Donaire. He's fighting in by far the best division in boxing and talking about moving up at least two fights too soon. And I wasn't exactly thrilled about his postfight comments concerning Rigondeaux. I don't care if the sum ***** only has one pro fight. If that's the guy seen as a threat that's who you need to fight.Comment

you cant really down play vasquez and mathebula tho esp when your boy's biggest win is rico ramos..and yes, nishioka was the number one , not just in the media but in the rankings..Funny that you're asking for Rigo to face someone yet who has Donaire faced since Montiel? So did Nishioka fight like the proud man you said he would ? LOL. Remember you said to wait until after the fight to make assessments on whether he would perform like somene who was about to retire.. according to stans like you this was THE fight at 122. Some even said it was the best fight to make in ALL the sport...
How did you enjoy THE fight Mr. Soothsayer?
This reminds me of a bunch of **** from a few years back: Edwin Valero? Who has he beat? Humberto Soto? He has a losing record. Joan Guzman? He has no fanbase. Juan Diaz? Sure he was the unified champ but he has pillowfists.. the fight we REALLy want to see is _ac vs David Diaz..!!!Comment

So make up your mind my dude, who was Rigo's biggest win, Cordoba or Ramos? Keep flipping your tune to fit your agenda. Cordoba beat a fresh Caballero, Mathebula lost. Vazquez got KTFO by Arce and beat WHO? Ill just keep the same arguments and watch yall contradict yourselves, again and again.
You're just another blind folded fool going by what you're told if you truly thought Nishioka was the #1 122 lber.Comment

does'nt matter whether he performed great or not, he was the number guy in the divsion ..did mosley perform like people wanted him to when floyd fought him ? no , thats coz they were in there againts great fighters, they were outclassed...but that did'nt take away the fact that they were number 1 in the divisions..So did Nishioka fight like the proud man you said he would ?
