Either that or just be honest in the interview-rigo brings no money right now and I am looking to make more dough. Hbo is looking to donaire when manny retires to keep thge filipino base energized and purchasing ppvs. Can't see hbo or tr making that fight when rigo is very difficult to market in the states.

No. I'm not dense. Nishioka, Vasquez Jr., Montiel, Darchinyan and Sidorenko were legit comps and recognizable and yes, Mathebula and Narvaez might have been cans but do you expect Donaire to fight the likes of the later for the rest of his entire career?
Donaire aint **** to casuals. Any casual who has watched his last 3-4 fights will not wanna watch him again. He's been getting boo'ed since the Narvaez fight. Donaire swears he's a PPV star talking about they need to prove themselves. Does he know how much he drew when he fought Mathebula and Vazquez? He's lucky his last event was co featured by two Mexicans or else.

Idk who set the trend but this sport is being filled with frauds. Canelo, Chavez and Donaire is getting up there, blatantly ducking on national TV. Smh

Donaire has done nothing but fight top opposition this year while Rigo hasn't fought **** just a bunch of cab drivers. I wanna see Rigo fight someone decent before he fights Donaire.

The same people who accused Floyd of avoiding Margarito are the EXACT SAME PEOPLE giving Donaire a pass on not fighting Mares/Moreno and Rigondeaux. It all just depends on who someone likes.

The lengths people are going to justify Donaire not fighting Mares/Moreno and Rigondeaux is insane.

And you can tell who doesn't know s**t when they say Rigondeaux needs to prove himself against better fighters, but then refuse to admit that Vazquez Jr and Mathebula had 1 win against a Top 10 SBW combined. Rigondeaux has 2 wins over Top 10 SBW (Cordoba and Ramos) in only 11 fights. But somehow he needs to prove himself like Vazquez Jr and Mathebula did.

Talk is cheap, tell your boy to fight decent opponent first, the last time I saw him, a guy name morroquin hurt him. What would happen to him if Donaire clips his untested chin.-- lol

Arce is a garbage but a more sellable fight than Rigo for sure. The thing is Donaire is not getting any younger he will be 30 next year so short of a time to make money and fame for him
agree w/ money matters. it's just that i didnt like donaire saying before the fight that maybe he'll stay at '22 then afterwards he's saying as if he's prepared to leave it immediately. w/ rigo being the closest challenge, he should at least try to make it on his part before he goes somewhere else. and yes, just any of the three should do it for donaire. as for rigo he better get some big name on his resume fast.

He said he'll go to 126 for a challenge, and in the post fight interview he said he may go up to 126 to find a challenge.

Are Mares/Moreno and Rigondeaux not challenges???

What a coward. Prefer to go up in weight than face the Jackal.

Is no hate Nonito. You are a coward .
