i dont thnk over the hill is the word ..you mean too defensive and conservative with his punches...he was still the number 1 guy
No, I mean over the hill. He struggled against a shot to **** Rafael Marquez... Rafael Marquez is about as shot as a fighter can get and still be licensed to fight. He is a shell of his former self.

Nishioka didn't look good against him.

Nishioka didn't fight defensive, he fought like a guy who can't pull the trigger any more. The same way Mosley fought against Mayweather, its classic over the hill fighter syndrome.

I have no idea how you can argue that Nishioka wasn't shot to ****. We basically knew he was shot to **** going into the fight. Do you want me to dig up all my posts about how shot to **** Nishioka is and how he wasn't a legit challenge to Donaire.

oh please no.Nonito may very well be the best at 122, but no challenges?cmon man. mares vs moreno winner would be perfect(i see it as a moreno win). After that fight (if nonito wins) then rigo would be waitin. I dont buy that rigo isnt experienced enough garbage, if he isn't experienced then it should be an easy payday for you. Donht get me wrong, love donaire but this would suck if he moves up. peace ya'll

The funny thing is Floyd Mayweather Jr. made the top P4P ranking after beating a flopper Victor Ortiz.

I don't see a Rigo vs Donaire fight being any more exciting than a Rigo vs Gary Russell who has lightning speed or Rigo vs Darchinyan who is awkward. Donaire vs Moreno or Mares is great. Rigo vs Donaire fight is not last fight on earth, not even the most exciting. There are too many great matchups. Donaire and Rigo could fight Salido/Mickey Garcia/Chris John/Gary Russell/Darchinyan/Moreno/De Leon/Dib/Leo SantaCruz/Agbeko/Jhonatan Romero/Luis Franco/Juan Carlos Burgos/. TOO MANY other fights as good if not better!! Give up the fixation!

Floyd performed fantastic in that fight, what is your point?

i dont think he struggled againts rafa altho i admit he was competitive ..but youre talking about rafa tho who is an excelent fighter..and even if you call that struglling , it was'nt the first time nishioka struggled ..if you have seen the first laurente fight, nishioka struggled more in that fight and this was when he was younger ..so over the hill is not the right word....

Good, then enjoy the fight! I know I will! First they have to sign! I'd pay to see that fight, perfect matchup!
