In my opinion, Cotto hasn't fought any of the top 154 lb fighters. He's beaten: Yuri Foreman, Ricardo Mayorga, Antonio Margarito, and Floyd Mayweather.

Foreman is totally featherfisted and had a hurt knee. Mayorga has been shot for years. Margarito is shot and has never had any success at 154. Floyd isn't a 154 lber. Until Cotto gets in the ring against a real top 154 lber, I'll reserve judgment as to how effective he can be at this weight. I think Trout is going to hand Cotto his ass.

But you should ask yourself one question: how come the guy in your avatar, 2x SWW champ, currently ranked #1 at 154 = his 5th division, is only willing to fight fellow blown up welters there? Sergio even said he'd drop down to 152 for FMJ, what's up? Barker, Dzinziruk and JCC Jr had no issues fighting Sergio at 160, what's the guy afraid of?
