So yes going down to 145 hurt Cotto
cotto went from 146 in his last fight to 145 to fight pacquiao in the next fight?

now that aint right! thats murder.

if anyone knows anything about being on a diet. we all know as soon as we lose a single pound of our weight , we just crumble to the ground and dived down and dirty into a fetal position and cry real loud.

trust me its happened to me b4, i like to think im tougher than miguel cotto even i cuddnt handle that ****. thats was tough.

Maybe the fact that he demanded a catch-weight for margarito in their rematch, yet now he has this holier than thou idea attitude towards compromising on weight,

no doubt, Cotto is a Great fighter but he or his team is being hypocrite.

According to Sergio Diaz, Margarito's co-manager, the camps had agreed to fight when Cotto insisted on making the bout at 150 pounds with the stipulation of a weight check on the day of the fight, for which the fighters could not exceed 160 pounds.

Is a catchweight not an advantage for the person requesting it? Who has to do the added work to get down those four pounds? Surely not Manny. Why ask for another catchweight when you already destroyed the dude. And I'm sure he wanted 8oz gloves too.

And so he asked for a catchweight with Margarito...boo-****ing-hoo. Margarito is lucky that Cotto even allowed him the chance to make some retirement money. The guy is lucky he wasn't permabanned for putting concrete in his fists. Notice that Cotto only tried to play weight games with a guy he hates. A fact that flies over the head of many. He holds considerable pull over the likes of fighters like Trout, and doesn't play those weight games, just the one guy who most likely cheated. In what was a fair playground, Cotto pitched a 9-0 shutout.

Manny just looks like a b*tch in this case, catchweights make or break fights with Pacquiao. Cotto tried, then settled and then whupped that ass. Pacquiao is fighting a 40 year old on the downslide, Cotto is fighting a man on the upside. The public is catching on to the con game right now, booed two fights ago, generated less than a millie in PPV buys his last fight and forcing people he already beat into added stipulations.

War Cotto, beat Trout and go for another big money fight and call it a day win or lose
Exactly. But this post will go unnotice because there is no flame, speak the truth and it is common sense. We all know this forum lack people with common sense.

You're missing the point. Both Cotto and the Pac hating crew claim he'd be drained at 150. So this then Ring #1 rated champ wanted to drain himself just to get a small edge over a medically unfit non contender. He clearly has no respect for his own body. How can he expect more from Pac or anyone else?

He deserved the right to request a catchweight against Margacheato. He gave Margacheato two of his highest paydays and gave him a going away present by giving him the second fight before retiring. Margacheato probably had the wraps in their first fight, it makes no sense that he would use them for Mosley and not for Cotto who when he fought him was one of the top p4p fighters. Cotto fights anyone, look at his resume! Judah, Clottey, MArgarito, Malignaggi, Mosley, Quintana, Pacman, and Mayweather and now a undefeated despite not very tested champion. No boxing fan should really ever talk **** about Cotto, hes the man!
