A fight with Canelo though is kind of interesting depending on what Floyd shows up. 154 is not his real weight class. He doesnt look the same at 154 like he does at 147.

Canelo can box, hes fast, smart, patient, can punch. He does have some good qualities. I have no idea why people act like he has the skill set of Micky Ward. Its just not accurate.

Does that mean he beats Floyd. Most likely it wont but Im not joining the Alvarez is a bum crowd. Hes not. And someone that young and that damn big and fast can atleast bring something out of Floyd like we saw Cotto do.

And its arguably the biggest money fight in boxing outside of a Pac fight. GBP has been grooming Saul and Khan for years to fight Floyd. Their plans have all stalled. Khan turned out to be more of a blood and guts warrior who will knock people out and get knocked out throughout the rest of his career.

And Alvarez has had 2 good fights fall through in Williams and Kirkland. So GBP has been trying to get Saul in the ring with some names so fighting Floyd isnt a shock to a system. Hasnt worked out that way though but they will fight.

This is boxing. Money talks and bullshyt can walk a marathon.

    Mayweather vs. Canelo PPV

    Martinez vs. Cotto PPV

Winners fight each other. And assuming Mayweather and Martinez win. Then that EASILY is bigger than a Pac fight. Hell that is THEE fight.

What the ***? That's a terrible attitude to have as a boxing fan. You do realise you dont get any money from Floyd's fights?

This should be an easy pick for Mayweather.

Alvarez is still green and I think he can be easily outboxed and would be lost by the speed and movement of Floyd. But Floyd doesn't need to take an unnecessary risk and give Martinez all these advantages for a **** payday when he can go to 147 and fight Guerrero or Berto or someone like that for the same pay. Martinez is a little overrated IMO but the toughest guy out there for Floyd because of size and he's a solid hitting southpaw. I'd actually like to see him come down to 154lbs and prove me wrong by fighting Cotto, Trout, Lara, Vanes, or even ****ing Alvarez. Hell if Martinez exposed both of the WBC sponsored hype jobs he'd probably get to be a draw... atleast in Mexico lol. Barker and those caliber guys don't impress me just like beating 1 dimensional guys like Pavlik and Chavez Jr. The Williams KO was nice but honestly Williams to me isn't all that.
Berto and Guerrero dont belong in the ring with Alvarez let alone Maywetaher. I dont want to see either of those scraps right now.

I know I get no money but I'm also a realist since I've watched boxing so long. Floyd had to do a lot to get the De La Hoya fight. A lot of fighters have to do **** to get a shot at the money guy(s). You have to make money to make money in boxing... that's how it's always been and will be. I know that fighters will choose the high reward/low risk over low reward/high risk. It's the logical thing to do especially when you're putting your health and future money earning on the line. A lot of people ***** about it and call fighters names for doing it but you know damn well if you were put in the same situation you would take the high reward/low risk everytime. I wish they would take the low reward/high risk from time to time but it's wishful and illogical thinking. I figure if I wouldn't do it then why hold someone to a standard I wouldn't hold myself to... I don't want to be a hypocrite.

I know that but who else is there at 147 right now? I think Floyd should fight Guerrero since he's a southpaw/his mandatory and fight Pac in May if Bob is finally ready to fully cash him out. Then fight Alvarez or Martinez @154lbs.

Sergio is the next biggest fight and its a better fight than any of those 3 imo. I don't know why people (Mayweather fanatics) are against it so much.
Noone wants to see Floyd vs Canelo? It would be the biggest money fight at 154 hands down. What you mean is hardcore fans don't wanna see it because Canelo hasn't earned it. Unfortunately fights are dictated by the general public, not us.

Some people are concerned about an undersized jr middleweight fighting a full fledged middleweight coming down. It's understandable. What's funny is that you're still mad at Hatton kissing the ring post so you're pushing for this fight so you can get your revenge.

Sergio is a small middleweight. He might do better at 54. He almost got KO'd by a big middleweight.
