  • Martinez trainer says no ward fight, moving to 154

Ward is too big and too good. Give me Canelo vs. Martinez or Cotto vs. Martinez any day over that. Both those fights are 50/50, I give the edge to sergio over Cotto, but Canelo is a different story imo..

that's too bad. Really wanted to see him fight GGG & Kid Chocolate. Gotta chase that money I suppose.

Guys like Sergio who is 37? and Marquez 39?, are still fighting top guys and there really isn't much an issue of age at all, people speak as though these guys are in their late 20's still, quite amazing.

His trainer didn't say there definitely moving to 154. He said "if anything we'll move to 154" instead of going to 168. My guess is that he stays at 160 if Cotto or Mayweather don't come knocking.

If he can make it without any issues, I'm good with it.

I do expect he can get very close to 154 before even showing any slight signs of having to dry himself out. However, I expect him to stay at 160, the fights he wants at 154 may not come.

                  you're probably right.

I don't think cotto will. I see cotto vs Canelo next assuming cotto wins.

maybe floyd if no Pacquiao but who knows with him.

Martinez destroys Cotto, the Canelo fight is 50/50. Floyd would be a slight favorite.
