Serious question. How is Martinez/Floyd the same as Martinez/Ward?

Isn't it a fact that Floyd talked about fighting ginger before he made it big stateside??

Floyd will beat Martinez but he shouldn't fight him because:

      Excuse #1
      Excuse #2
Excuse #3 & the list goes on.

A Martinez fan will say, Martinez cannot compete at 168 & Ward destroys him there. Anything else you'd like to know??
What you don't understand is that a lot of Floyd fans are also Martinez fans. This ain't football or basketball or any other team sport, we can support several fighters at the same time. From what I've seen, the people who support both fighters would like to see this fight but would understand if it didn't happen. Now the Martinez fans who are also Floyd haters are the ones who are pushing for it and saying Floyd is a duck if he doesn't take it.

We can see through you guys, you're more transparent than glass.

I don't I have a problem with Floyd fighting Sergio I hope he does; the best Sergio has going for him is he's a southpaw; but that Roy Jones keeping your hands down will get sliced up against a better techinician. When he gasses out in rds 7-9 wouldn't bode to well against a more conditioned Mayweather. Floyd has a longer reach with better accuracy and lets not not compare defense. Sergio only hope is a 1 punch KO and Floyd will not let that big shot land. Sergio shoots for the chin and anytime Floyd has been stunned in been shots to the temple not the chin.

There isn't a bigger fight in all of the sport that can be made that's bigger than Floyd/Martinez at 154.

The Floyd fan is the same as the Pacman fan. You guys are transparent.

The Pacman fan: Pacman beat Cotto at any weight, but he needs a catchweight to fight him.

The Floyd fan: Floyd beats Martinez at 154-160, but he shouldn't fight him cause Martinez is too big. Same $h1t different fighter.

What you need to do is stop living in 2009. Floyd & Martinez are still dominating. Either way you look at it Pacman lost 1 of his last 2 fights. Your pick as to which 1.

Sergio has a reach advantage over Floyd (75 to 72 according to boxrec). Floyd has supreme accuracy, but that's not gonna stop Sergio from dropping his hands. Floyd's speed/timing/defense/accuracy gets tested against Martinez imho. Sergio has also proven that he can fight at any tempo, and his stamina is solid too. This fight is basically even on paper because Sergio is a capable opponent. He presents much more of a stylistic/physical threat than Cotto and he has much more experience than Canelo.

Martinez is in a great position right now. If he wants to fight Floyd, he's halfway there. Get Alvarez in there, beat him senseless, and then he'll become the best option available for Floyd. There should be little to no disagreements with that.

Floyd/Pac would still be bigger. I thought you were a hardcore fan but it turns out you're worried about how big a fight would be.

Now you're using my words, you remind me of Chavez Jr during the HBO face off "No YOU're gonne lose!" Too dim-witted to come up with his own lines.

Who said Floyd shouldn't fight Martinez?

Most people are saying it would be great if it happened but it DOESN'T HAVE TO. Same for Martine/Ward.

Floyd will inside fight Sergio the whole night because Sergio needs distance to land. Anytime you Sergio hitting deck is usually when when he's making exchanges on the inside and his hands being low becomes a hinderance when he just can't move out the way of a punch he see's coming.

Put it like this Sergio has the same problem Paul Williams has he wants to call out people but moves division away from them. If you clear everybody out in the same division you put them a corner to fight you.
