Theres nothing wrong with quitting when you're clearly outclassed.. Whats the point? I only hate on fighters like judah and Ortiz because they quit when they're still in the fight.

And all the e-thugs need to stfu, if you're so damn tough, how come i dont see you in the ring?

chad has always been a cerebral boxer that always seemed to let his head get the best of him.... he is a smart dude, and at that moment, he just cashed out.

at least he gave full props. no excuses.
He lost every round, was knocked down multiple times, and has no knockout power..what
        was the point of continuuing?

I would have keep on fighting giving him all I had even until I ended up knocked out where I couldn't get up no more. And that is without preparation. You can tell a lot about what a man is made of by the way they speak and you could see in Chad's soft/insecure voice that he is not sure that he would give it all. **** that coward, I was a fan of Dawson but **** him now, **** you loser!

but i think chad couldve dug deeper. i think he shouldve roughed ward up more... i found it surprising ward was physically imposing his will over chad. i see your point about being completely outclassed... but a perfect example of NOT QUITTING was corrales vs floyd....

i guess he had to plead to get out since he KNEW smoger wasnt gonna call it anytime soon. LOL.

                Yup. Great ref.

corrales vs floyd.... perfect example. thats why people LOVED corrales.

dawson has a track record for "checking out" mentally, or not pushing hard enough.... hence the disappointment. the guy is arguably one of the most talented boxers today... he just never pushed hard enough. he should be undefeated with his talent level.

he took the smart option which was live to fight another day - same as what vasquez did in his first fight with marquez, smae as ortiz in his last fight. nothing wrong with that and it doesn't make him a pu$$y.
Not comparable. Vazquez had his nose absolutely decimated and could no longer breath.

If he wanted out all he had to do was go down and not get up.
