Never got in a boxing ring, but I step into cellblocks with convicted murderers and gang member every day. Just go ask Mike Tyson which was more scary/dangerous....his time in the ring or in prison. I work a hazardous job to. And when I fight guys, I get paid 11.41 an hour, not millions. But I still do my job.

im talkin good ole amurican football. try laying down in full pads and just rolling up and down the 100 yard field for 2 straight hours. entire team puking at least 3 times each. this was before all the new nancy sht about dehydration. Water is for cowards. Water makes you weak. Water is for washing blood off that uniform and you don't get no blood on my uniform, boy you must be outside your mind! We are going to do up-downs, until Blue is no longer tired, and thirsty!!! lol good times. still not the same as draining your body for a fight.

Yes, Im American, I played football. I do agree Boxing is much harder than football...but still a little similar as both are very pysical sports.

I played an entire football game with the flu once, never came off the field...I didnt quit....and I sure as hell didnt get paid millions for it. Michael Jordan did the same thing.

Boxing is a sport comparing it to a street/prison fight is beyond ******. In one situation your life could depend on you continuing to fight in the other situation only people's recognition is on the line.

you know they showed a replay of the stoppage on hbo where they listened in to what dawson was saying right? dawson for a fact didnt say that. he didnt want to continue, true. but thats no reason to make **** up.

I have not read all the comments on this thread but ward sure fought well Dawson did not seem able to mount any offence and was taking a beating to end when he did may have been a wise move. There was no doubt as to who the better man was on that night.

You need to relocate. In IL, for bilinguals who speak fluid Spanish. The starting salary for correctional officers are 54k a year.
