    Truth hurts doesn't it?

Like i said Bojangles my friend...i have no doubt whatsoever that you would have fought on and probably gone onto to KO Ward in the last couple of rounds if that was you in their with Ward and not that cowardly quitter Chad Dawson.

If only it was Andre Ward vs bojangles1987. I am 100% sure that you would have taken Ward's 0.

I never called Dawson a coward. I never said anything about being able to do better.

It's a ****** argument. Comparing a professional fighter that made 600k to fight last night to fans watching at home is beyond ******ed. You compare Chad Dawson to other professional fighters, since he is one.

He knew he couldn't win a decision, was getting hit clean and got KD AGAIN. He knew the fight was over with.

I never said you called him a coward but many in this thread have.

I suppose my viewpoint is just different from the majority on here. I literally laugh out loud when i see internet tough guys like the many in this thread throw insults like calling professional fighters ''cowards''. It's actually hilarious, like literally. Because if there's one things thats guarenteed it's that they would never have the balls to say it to Chad Dawson's face, yet Dawson is supposedly the coward

When people who have never stepped inside a boxing ring in their lives have the gall to call someone who fights professionally and step into the ring knowing the other guy wants to knock their heads off "cowards" they deserve to get berated.

I don't understand why people are being so critical of Dawson. Really speaking his corner should have thrown in the towel as it was reaching the point where years of his career were being shaved off.

The end of the day he was a drained man in that ring. Suffering damage is one thing but suffering damage when you're physically depleted is a different animal. All these people speaking of ''Heart'' or ''Warriors mentality''. To be honest I don't even know where this warriors mentality **** comes from, warriors have always known when to make a tactical treat they fight to the death if they have no other option but do you really think someone would sacrifice his entire army when he can go retreat and fight another day?

Dawson knew he was done and there was nothing he could do at that point. He surely knows his own body language better than we do. It is best to pick up the pieces and fight another day. That is what he did. He was just too weak and Ward was just way too good.

Smoger deserves props also. He did not quickly wave it off. He gave Dawson a second and third chance to change his mind after Chad was hesitant. Smoger is the best ref in the sport. He is all about giving the guy a little time to find that inner rally, while also looking them straight into their eyes.

this is boxing. we EXPECT fighters to go all out. so i understand the backlash... chad pulled an ortiz basically... i think chad COULDVE stunk it out and lasted 12, IMO. personally, i was let down from the lack of fire from chad... but what else is new.

chad has always been a cerebral boxer that always seemed to let his head get the best of him.... he is a smart dude, and at that moment, he just cashed out.

at least he gave full props. no excuses.
