Since when do rankings and being a mandatory ever actually matter? It's a fact: some mandatory people have been leapfrogged, more then once, because promoters want to make money fights, not fan fights.

I am a big TD fan, but this rating is ridiculous. There are plenty of fighters that are out there busting their ass to earn a shot while he gets an undeserved shot on a silver platter. He should earn his shot like everyone else instead of having it handed to him. Not only that, but this might backfire in that it might force him to be rushed along to maintain that ranking. I was really hoping they would take their time and let him blossom carefully instead of forcing him to fast since he is only 22 years old with 15 fights.

No disrespect but I see where some people are coming from, it's about their blood, their genes and such. Easy for Garcia 'cause his parents are rican and not for Dulorme 'cause his parents are dominican.

I disagree with it tho, to me it's where you grow up and where your pride lies. He says he's a rican, he grew up in PR and he feels pride for his hometown, to me he's from PR.

Not that it matters much. Let's just see him get it on with the big boys to see how good he is.

Other than the obvious Mexican/PR hate in this tread, it bothers me that some Ricans in this tread are dissing Danny to claim Dulorme. I think that's pretty ****ed up. Danny paid his dues & PR should support him imo. Some act like it's a crime to support 2 fighters or some $h!t.

I don't think either fighter should be dissed. but Danny is American. dulorme has spent more time in PR than Danny and its not really close.

I'm not arguing about who's more Rican. I did however see at least 2 Rican's in this thread willing to diss Danny while supporting Dulorme. There's no need for that. Support Dulorme, but why diss Danny??

He's not claiming to be PR for the fan base. Apparently that's where he resided most of his life. And he probably still does.
