I don't think either fighter should be dissed. but Danny is American. dulorme has spent more time in PR than Danny and its not really close.
Anyone know for sure where Dulorme's parents are from? Are they from that French island or just had Dulorme there?

I'm not arguing about who's more Rican. I did however see at least 2 Rican's in this thread willing to diss Danny while supporting Dulorme. There's no need for that. Support Dulorme, but why diss Danny??
Also, after the Khan fight when he said "this is for the latinos" tells me that he doesnt feel embraced by us. I feel like that was his way of saying "yea Im one of you guys."

This is quoting reports from other websites..
"Dulorme was born in the Collectivité de Saint-Martin (Collectivity of St. Martin), the French section of the island of Saint Martin. His family later moved to the Dominican Republic and eventually settled in Puerto Rico. He began boxing at an early age, winning Golden Gloves tournaments in Saint Martin, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. According to Dulorme, his amateur record was 140-2.[1]
[edit] Professional careerDespite being born outside in the Lesser Antilles, Dulorme identifies himself as Puerto Rican, stating his desire to "represent Puerto Rico every time that [he] steps in a ring".

Let Me see if this could clear things up..Starting with Danny García, his parents are both from here(Puerto Rico)But Danny was born & raised & has lived & still lives in the states(Philadelphia to be exact)for that matter everything Danny has ever done & accomplished has been in the states & all he's ever represented was the city he's from in the states cause that's where he's from.No disrespect towards Danny but the fact is he's from the u.s & not from P.R & has NEVER done anything for Puerto Rico..Just because he platers a P.R flag on his trunks doesn't mean anything, he also had the u.s flag on his trunks..
Now with Dulorme, He was born on the French side of St.Marteen & his parents are from the Dominican Republic, but Dulorme was brought to Puerto Rico at the age of 2 so for that matter he has practically live most of his life here(in P.R)Dulorme was raised & still lives & has done everything in P.R & everything he's ever accomplished has been in P.R. & that's the country he has represented threw out his life & most(if not ALL)of Dulorme's freinds & acquaintances are here in Puerto Rico, all he knows is Puerto Rico..So there's no doubt he's Puerto Rican & more Puerto Rican than most of descendants of Boricuas in the states..He's been asked that plenty of times here & he proudly says he's Puerto Rican & that's who he'll always represent!!To Me(a Full Blooded Boricua)Dulorme is Boricua all the way!!
