A bad karma for oscar is all it is. He would have fared better had he fought margo. Oh well.

But that doesn't mean I can credit Manny for beating Oscar if he were to fight comfortably.

That's like saying if Wlad wanted to fight Dawson at a catchweight of 215. And by some miracle Wlad makes the weight, and Dawson out boxes the **** out of zombie Wlad.

Can you really say Dawson's win over a zombie Wlad is a good win? It was Wlad's idea to make that weight and he made the cut, but still...
Sorry man but it was a damn good win in a fight everyone feared for Mannys health

manny's prior fight was just ONE FIGHT AT LIGHTWEIGHT. then he jumped TWO MORE WEIGHT CLASSES to fight oscar. yeah oscar look drained but he chose the weight, not manny. i think even at 154, manny sparks oscar. all the non-credit spewed out here is just plain hind sight hate.

          hindsight is 20/20

at the time it was monumentous

it's the fight that made him a star

given the quantity that a horribly drained and faded de la hoya was it's not his best win, but it's perhaps his most important in shaping his career into what it's become. that's the win that got the ball rolling on all of this

he was a 4/1 dog, mind you. most people (myself included,) though he was going to get knocked out of the ring with the first clean hook that hit his chin.

Just imagine if Cotto had beaten Margarito and gotten the DLH fight like what was planned (or for that matter DLH fought Marg after he won). The boxing world would be completely different today.

not as good as mayweather over mosley. mosley was near prime and mayweather took his soul that's why he fell off.

no one gave pac a chance. not only did he win, but he gave de la hoya the worst beating of his life.

obviously all thing's considered, its not pacquiao's greatest win, but it was clearly one of the most significant wins of all time and he did beat someone who was about 4 inches taller. not to mention, pacquiao jumped two weight classes. all in all, a very good win, but not one of pacquiao's best.

Would you have feared for Manny's health if you have known Oscar was on IV?
