How great of a win was Pac over Hoya?

Well that was Oscar's fault and he got exactly what he deserved. The thing about bookies and betting odds is, they don't know how a boxer is going to handle the weight. Nobody does until after the fight. Now if the fighter loses, the haters can always say that it was because he was weight drained, BUT remember HE WAS ON IV before the fight. Now I am not an anthropologist but I am pretty sure he was desperate for fluids.
If the bookies knew this, then Pac would definitely have been the favorite.Comment

Pac was the underdog and 90% of the Pacfans knew it was over for Manny (including myself). I believe the non-pacfans also thought it was a mismatch. It was a great win among pacfans and Hoya haters. Oscar was demolished and embarrassed for the first time in his life.Comment

De la Hoya could have weighed 160 and he still woulve gotten blasted by Pac.
I think it was a good win just for the fact that Pac was seen as a sacrificial lamb to most people for Oscar to retire on a high note. I thought Pac was going to lose bad so did pretty much everyone else.
In short Pac took a big risk taking that fight and deserves the recognition for winning big.Comment

That is Oscar's fault!
But that doesn't mean I can credit Manny for beating Oscar if he were to fight comfortably.
That's like saying if Wlad wanted to fight Dawson at a catchweight of 215. And by some miracle Wlad makes the weight, and Dawson out boxes the **** out of zombie Wlad.
Can you really say Dawson's win over a zombie Wlad is a good win? It was Wlad's idea to make that weight and he made the cut, but still...Comment
