molina also asked for the rematch on 3/23..as a matter of fact it was talked about on this site,he was on that boxing radio thing they have here,,,so who are we to believe? lara is the more hyped fighter of the two so i wouldn't doubt it was lara who is avoiding him since molina is a tough fighter for anyone, but even so if lara asked for rematch and molina did too who are we to believe is the one who doesn't want it? as far as i'm concerned they both asked for it and we don't know who's the one avoiding it,all i know is molina is more deserving than lara because to me he beat lara,or atleast they should rematch and then winner face canelo, this is about money and neither of those guys bring much anyways,i think it's better that lara face winner of bundgrage/spinks since he's fighting on that undercard and then unify with canelo, atleast then it's worth it

They have the same manager. He doesn't want to lose one of his stars by matching them against each other.

BOTH want the fight but the fight makes more sense if one of them has the title first because that means more money and more would be at stake. But for a guy to say Lara hasn't asked for a rematch when I have proof, is ******.

Ok then why don't Canelo fight Molina then?

Molina is not even being considered as a possible opponent for Alvarez because GBP know not only would Molina make him look bad but he would beat Alvarez as well and I wouldn't even be Close

It is no shame is struggling or losing to a fighter like Monlina, he is a SKILLED BOXER and he does what it takes to WIN, not some ****** face first brawler which is why many will avoid him...Regardless of the Outcome, Lara had the balls to get in the ring with him...Alvarez wouldn't even step into the ring with Morlina at this point and take that RISK

Lara is one of the best, CANELO IS NOT!!!. So if you and Bush want the best to fight, we agree. But it seems you both want Canelo to lose because you disagree with how people talk about him.
I don't WANT ginger to lose. I want the best fights made. Champions should fight the best fighters available. i wouldn't wish the Lara fight on a contender, But I absolutely wish the fight on the 3rd ranked jr welterweight. Because Lara could just as easily be that man. If Lara were champ, he'd fight the best.

Oh please, you're overrating the hell out of Molina and Lara dude. Neither one would blow Canelo out, I actually see Canelo beating both in competitive fights.

"Lara had the balls to get in the ring with him"....lmao like he had a choice, nobody knows who Lara is, the dude has to fight who he can get.

Boxing is decaying because there are no outlets for it and therefor fewer ways to make money. I grew up watching great fights on free TV. You had great fights because of network competition. Well thats gone. Other things have taken up that space.

Thats why boxing has changed. IMO its ******ity bordering on mental ******ation to blame floyd/Manny or canelo for that. I agree I shouldn't have to pay to watch Canelo on ppv at this stage of his career.

But if people like you wrote emails to ESPN/NBC/USA and complained about it rather than just in this forum, it might be better.

You know what's so funny about this response?? I didn't even mention Floyd or Pacman. But they fit exactly what I was talking about. Which is why YOU brought them up & you still don't even realize it.

Problem I see with a lot of the young fighters (stars) today is they fight ham and eggers (for the most part), then get thrown in with the wolves without being battle tested and run into huge bumps in the road. Oscar, Floyd, Cotto, Mosley, etc all fought guys like that and it proved how good / great they really were. Lara is a great test for Canelo, but being there's a huge gap between risk / reward I doubt the fight happens. Hopefully I'm wrong.
