Never once did I say Canelo shouldn't fight them, I have actually stated many times that Canelo should fight Lara considering the options left.

A lot of Fans are just on these Boxing Forums for some type of SELF PRIDE BOOST I guess so they feel because they are MEXICAN they have to say all the Mexican Fighters are the Best or because they are Filipino that they have to say "ALL FILIPINO FIGHTERS ARE THE BEST" these are the worse ***in type of fans and these are not BOXING FANS

Bottom Line is this, Canelo is running out of Options, he really don't have any right now, he should fight either Molina, Trout or Lara...REGARDLESS OF THEIR ***IN STYLE (if it is boring or not) and regardless if they have or don't have a Tan Base...FIGHT THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE CONSIDERED TOP FIGHTERS IN YOUR DIVISION! Because eventually he will have to fight them or else even his hardcore fans will start to question him...so he can only RUN for so long

So I am not worried about Canelo Cherry Picking right now, he better enjoy it because once he starts to fight the BEST OF THE BEST then we will really find out just how good he is...and I think Canelo does have some talent by the way, I just don't think the SKILLS MATCH THE HYPE RIGHT NOW though so stop ***in hyping him (OSCAR, GOLDEN BOY AND HBO) if your trying to buy him more time and feel he is not ready for those Top Fighters in his Division

They're PR, but that doesn't mean they had a fan base.

Sure Cintron has accomplished something throughout his career, but by the time he fought Canelo, he hadn't done anything in years. Heck, he was just on Friday Night Fights the fight before and lost to Molina on an undercard the fight before that and threw himself out the ring against Paul Williams the fight before that. Cintron's fan base was non existent when he fought Canelo. There was no reason for that fight to have ever happened.

Cotto's brother, well, he never had a fan base to begin with. His brother had the fan base. In fact, I'm pretty sure Cotto was coming off a 2 year layoff or something even before he fought Canelo. No fan base there. Puerto Rican fighters, yes. But no fan base that will make you fight them instead of the much deserved fights that should've taken place instead.
