why isnt lara that famous because he aint mexican because canelo and chavez jr and mares and all of them the only reason they so famous is because they mexican and they get all the promotions and advertising just like when there is any puerto rican fighter thats kinda good like juan manuel lopez got all famous just because hes puerto rican and they take to fight in puerto rico and sell out and make money out of them because not even american fighters are as famous as mexican fighters they get all the following from mexicans here and advertising

this fight would get Cinnamon so much respect imo...win or lose!!...so as far as the respect factor...its a win win....I would put money on Lara to win by stoppage....but I would have more respect for the red head kid if he fought a dangerous dude like Lara...it would make him official in my book

IMO, it's Floyd that's been turning the fight down because he won't gain anything for beating him.

I remember a few years ago when Mayweather was making his comeback, he was suggesting he might face Canelo then. This was about 3 years ago. Floyd could've made the fight then if he wanted, but he didn't.

It's Floyd saying no, not Oscar.
But Oscar did agree with Floyd that Canelo is not ready.

You never blamed Kirk's victory on the Angulo "gassing" excuse?

Sure, Oscar agreed, but that's not why the fight isn't happening.

Like Schafer said previously, Canelo is at a point to where he picks who he wants to fight and GBP makes it happen. I'm sure they make suggestions to Canelo, but ultimately he says yes or no.

If Floyd would've said he wanted to fight Canelo 3 years ago, the fight would've been made. It's documented in past articles.

To Be Fair...I don't think it is Alvarez himself that is Cherry Picking Fights...I think it is Oscar and his Manager who are CHERRY PICKING FOR HIM!

I think it is obvious they want to not only keep him undefeated but why in the hell would they set him up to lose in his first PPV?

From a Marketing/Business standpoint, I get it now...Oscar and GBP are building him up, yes he will get to Trout, Lara and all of the Top Fighters in his Division...JUST NOT RIGHT NOW!

So Lara, Trout guys like that, all they have to do is keep winning, don't worry about the Casual Fans who call you boring or question your style...*** THEM, eventually the Pressure From The HARDCORE BOXING FANS will force him to fight Trout and Lara, While winning over Casual Fans is important...you also need the Approval of the Hardcore Fans to become a Crossover Star as well...lets not forget he is only 21 years old, he has plenty of years left in his career, it is not like he is retiring after this fight or something

Shut the *** up and research before you show your ignorance! Lara called for a rematch on 3/24 so you are full of ****.
