personally, floyd @ 130s was BEAST.... "pretty boy" was my favorite version of floyd.

"money" left a lot to be desired at 147.... but floyd is DEFINITELY making up for it lately. he continues to do what he is doing, he will easily take the top p4p spot (if not already)...

I'm going to apply the formula. Ward ducked Bute. JMM ducked Morales. Froch ducked BHop. This is the kind of ******ity that permeates this board.

he could still fight martinez if floyd can fight him pac can fight him at 150

at 147 people claim he ducked Paul Williams and Margarito, but really how is it ducking someone when you are making more money and fighting for the real world title?

Against Baldomir and beating the previous champion in Judah and has the best resume out of any active Welterweight with wins over Judah, Baldomir, Ortiz, Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, and Mitchell....beating two champions mean alot more than beating to contenders, also all risk no reward....

at 154 he beat the number one guy at the weight twice....ODLH and Cotto were the top rated junior middleweights when he fought them

          My Picks:

          1) Manny Pacquiao: the fight still is a possibility but if Bradley beats Pacquaio chances are the fight wont happen. His closest "percieved" rival

          2) Kostya Tszyu: Would have been a great name on his resume but if he had fought him in 2004-2005 and beat him convincingly they'd have just said he was shot or made an excuse

          3) Prime Mosley at 135....politics and Mosley chasing ODLH stopped this great match up from happening

at this point outside of beating Martinez at middleweight for the title their isnt nothing left that would prove his greatness or add to his resume
He should of fought without testing postive to roids 3 times than only have Oscar to cover it up

we can go to infinity on who ducked who this and that but the reality and facts of everything is he has a better resume heat more champions, hall of famers, and won more titles than all of them so your point is rather mute.

Not really. It's not a mystery who floyd has ducked. Only to you.

And you mean moot, not mute.

Look at Paclan's list. Cotto, mosley, manny all refused to fight when they were prime. Winky was 2 weight classes above. Kosta lost to Hatton. Sergio is just a new name the last 2 years. SO this comes down to Margs and Pwill.

ANd then we apply the formula. PWill is tall and can jab so he'd beat floyd. Doesn't matter he drops his hands or that QUintana beat him. Then Margs is a pressure fighter and floyd doesn't like pressure fighters look at Castillo 1, he lost. Doesn't matter he is much faster than Marg or that Marg lost to Daniel Santos.
it does'nt matter where it started what matter is the credibilty of the criticism thats being thrown at him and wehter you like it or not, floyd did not take a lot of the fights that were demanded...meaning the duck talk is full of truth to it...that forumla coulda been proven in your favor or the haters favor had floyd fought them ...but we will never know untill or unless floyd mans up...

Williams did not leave the division.

He just couldn't get anyone to fight him. He always offered to come down to 147 to fight Pac or whoever. Unfortunately, no one took him up on the offer.

Casuals have taken over Boxing scene.

I'm out of here, I'd rather talk boxing with my dad.

It's common knowledge. I don't even have to argue it because if you're a real boxing fan you already know this.
Uhhh .. have you named who he should have fought that he didn't?

Are you going to name the entire Top Rank roster?

                      Hahaha .. uhh .. no.
