really need to ask that question?

im not interested in excuses, i just want to see the best fight the best. that meant mayweather vs pacquiao.

even if it happens this year, its past its sell by date. these two guys are a disgrace to the sport of boxing.

this claim "team hatton said they weren't ready to fight floyd at 140 when he was a carreer 140lber and was his best weight just does'nt make sense at all...it's not believable and ******..." oh 140 is my best weight but im gonna fight you at 147 becuase im not ready at my best weight" what kind of **** is that?..it's ridiculous...

funny enough his last two fights have been pretty entertaining

i think floyd has earned the right to be crowned p4p but to me he isn't better than say a ray leonard or even roy jones jr for that matter

defensive genius yes but he has hand picked opponents and caught guys at the tail end of ther careers there is no doubt about that imo
Look at the title of the topic.

Then try and name someone that Floyd did not beat that would have enhanced his legacy.

Additionally, name someone that Floyd supposedly caught at the tail end who he hadn't been calling out years earlier.

Very few have moved from division to division dominating the very best like Floyd has. Even the greats from boxing's golden era. They were good, but they weren't so good that when their division got stale they would move up 5 divisions and still continue fighting the #1 & #2 ranked fighters while they were still the #1 & #2 ranked fighters.

Put what Floyd has accomplished in its proper context.

Floyd used no vacant titles. No catchweights. He did all of what he accomplished legitimately.

He also did it against the best ranked active competition of his era.

Floyd didn't pad his record as his first attempt at the world stage came in just his 18th fight against a future HOF.

Floyd has already done more than enough. Its not his fault that some fans are ignorant of how much he's actually done.

If he were to do something additional, I would tell him to unify the WW division. Unifying the WW division would cast Manny Pacquiao in a light that made him appear as a scavenger ... holding one belt while Mayweather held three.

There's really no debate now, but there would definitely be no debate at that point.

at 147 people claim he ducked Paul Williams and Margarito, but really how is it ducking someone when you are making more money and fighting for the real world title?

Against Baldomir and beating the previous champion in Judah and has the best resume out of any active Welterweight with wins over Judah, Baldomir, Ortiz, Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, and Mitchell....beating two champions mean alot more than beating to contenders, also all risk no reward....

at 154 he beat the number one guy at the weight twice....ODLH and Cotto were the top rated junior middleweights when he fought them

            My Picks:

            1) Manny Pacquiao: the fight still is a possibility but if Bradley beats Pacquaio chances are the fight wont happen. His closest "percieved" rival

            2) Kostya Tszyu: Would have been a great name on his resume but if he had fought him in 2004-2005 and beat him convincingly they'd have just said he was shot or made an excuse

            3) Prime Mosley at 135....politics and Mosley chasing ODLH stopped this great match up from happening

at this point outside of beating Martinez at middleweight for the title their isnt nothing left that would prove his greatness or add to his resume
what a clown statement from you. what a joke that is.

No mater who floyd fought and beat, people on this board that hate him would still hate him.

The formula is find any fighter floyd didn't beat, play up his strengths, don't discuss his weaknesses, say he would have beaten floyd, then complain that his fans have him winning every fantasy fight, then can his fans gay or nuthuggers.

                      Sam **** different day!
