Like I said, there is spin and truth. These fights didn't happen. But the reasons why illustrates how great floyd is. Bigger, prime HOF fighters saw him as too much of a risk to fight him when they were prime. Obviously, they thought enough of his "percieved ability" as you call it, to not fight him.

You prove nothing from a fight not happening.

His ability is perceived, while the likes of Duran are proven time and time again at a higher level than Floyd.

Floydies are fantasists, pure and simple. The possiblity that Floyd would actually win isnt likely, so is a fantasy.
Fantasies coming true rarely come true, and are sometimes best left as a fantasy.

Like I said Kosta lost so lets leave him out.

I mean, respectfully, how does beating Williams and Margarito elevate his resume? The title of "most avoided" isn't real. It's catchy but it doesn't make either better than they were. Besides, are we only going to talk about these guys strengths or them as complete fighters.

SO floyd was going to lose to a guy who lost to Carlos QUintana just because he could jab? Or he was going to lose to Margarito just because he pressured opponents and floyd had a close fight with Castillo?

Past prime Kostya put prime unbeaten Zab on his ass in the 2 round, that was the same year floyd fought Castillo.
Kostya`s was a master at timing and timing beats speed and is why he would knock out all those speedfreaks and give Floyd something to think about

5 years after the Zab fight Kostya was old and shot and is why he lost to ricky in what was to date Ricky`s best preformance

            1. If the fighters of 2day are so bad, who the hell would Floyd fight that could compare to the type of comp the old timers faced?

There are no Leonards, Hearns or Durans 2day from what u guys say, so who the hell could the man have faced in order to prove himself?
I think it's just a matter of not wanting to admit the man is that good (For personal reasons).

Because SRL, Hearns and Hagler weren't afraid to fight Duran.

Do you think zab and floyd are on the same level? Zab got KO'd because he outboxed kosta in rd 1 and then got ****y. You think floyd makes that kind of mistake?

UMMM I think Chico would have been Floyds Foreman... Oh but lets dismiss that

Also, remeber he wasn't "Money" then. He was just a great fighter with no real fanbase to speak of.

Floyd has not taken on the big fights he could have, that could have proven his ability.

Floyd has struggled against much lesser fighters too, JLC arguably beat him.

We heard the reasons why people think Floyd beats Duran and quite frankly their reasoning is pathetic.

Very similar to the reasons we heard why Bute beats Froch.
