The primary excuse for not giving credit, was Hopkins being shot. This has been extensively proven wrong.

A lot of folks reasoning's for now not giving credit is, Calzaghe not looking great. Well how many people have looked great against Hopkins, his style is to be awkward and make you look bad, which is a nightmare for Joes style.

The second excuse to detract from it now is, Hopkins lost it for himself.

What does that even mean. It's like saying if only such and such did better there'd have won. What an obviously ****** comment, he didn't against the opponent in the ring, that was the result. Saying he lost it for himself, is often a comment from someone wanting that guy to win so much, when they lose there'd rather cite there guy having a bad night, than give any merit to the...winner.

He fakes injury more than any fighter in history and cries racism or politics everytime he loses or something doesnt go his way. I used to be a big fan of his too but that changed long ago.
He asked why the win is underrated. Not why Calzaghe won.

            youth sports

            as of 2006

In soccer, which remains the popular youth sports, numbers have risen from about 15 million in 1987 to more than 17.5 million in 2002, the latest date for which numbers are available, according to U.S. Soccer.

n Pop Warner Football, participation has nearly doubled in the last 15 years, from about 130,000 players to 260,000 players,

            17 million kids playing soccer

compare to 260,000 playing youth football

            at a competitive level

            at high school level
            it evens out.

            at college level

            obviously football takes over.

the older Americans get, the worse they get at soccer

            I rest my case
Well if you count 6-13 at a really competitive level, I guess you're right. Plenty of little kids in early elementary days play youth pick up soccer in the parks and what not.

Football also costs a lot more play. Still, if you lived here, you'd realize most here don't care about soccer, right or wrong. It's not like Americans aren't as good at soccer because it's a harder sport, because Americans have shown time and time again they have the best athletes in the world for the most part. If Soccer was aired more on US TV than it is, more kids would continue to play the sport.

Yeah because Ottke beat the likes of Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins. The guy cleaned up his division, it's time for people who sit behind their computers discrediting other people's achievements who themselves haven't achieved *** all in their lives to show some respect.

Imagine if he did it in black and white. The history section would call him the new Harry Greb.

                      Jeff Lacy haha!
The funny thing is Sven Ottkes resume is better than Calzaghes and that is a fcuking fact and I don't care what armchair expert or e-historian tries telling me otherwise.

Achieved *** all in life hey? Speak for yourself gob****e.
