Joe was not prime he was 36 with brittle hands

Calzaghe really shouldn't have been awarded the decision. Then he went way out of his way to avoid taking a rematch with Hopkins. Nobody wanted to see it again, but if Calzaghe was at all interested in securing his legacy he would have had the Hopkins rematch, and possibly taken on someone like Chad Dawson before riding off into the sunset. As a Calzaghe fan I was massively disappointed at the way he ended his career. It isn't unlikely he could have beaten Dawson, although I doubt very seriously he could have ever beaten Hopkins.

Roy Jones made Hopkins not want to fight. In the rematch. It wasn't exactly hard at that point to make Hopkins not want to fight.

Both fighters were awful. It's hard to give either fighter much credit.

calaghe clearly won the fight as the fight went on calzahe lands more and more and i know people gonna say he slaps but whatever if you watch that fight calzaghe lands a lot of straight left hands they just didn't seem tp phase bernard especially early in the fight but that doesn't mean it shouldn't count.
what did bernard do to win that fight?dropped calzaghe in the 1st and land a counter in the 5th that made calzaghe stumble?you don't win a whole fight for what happened in rounds 1 and 5 and 5 could of went either way but calzaghe is some white euro with an awkward style that alot of people don't like so of course most people will hate, i guess calzaghe should of fought a bunch of blown upp welterweights and jr middleweights maybe he would get more respected
