Why does Chad Dawson want a fight with Andre Ward so badly?

I don't see where this is such a big money fight, that's why I don't get it.

What do you guys see HBO putting up for this fight? I CAN'T see it being 3 million. That's for guys like Hopkins and Cotto when they fight on WCB.

Say it's 2.5....a solid amount(this will def be a one fight card). That's million dollar pay days for each, but they probably have to split it even....does anyone really think Dawson couldn't get that much against Pascal again or Cloud?

No idea. Its probably not because the fight is a certain stinker... There's not likely to be many dollars in it either. So maybe Dawson just sees Ward as a bonafide challenge and looks to improve his resume?

Easier than Pascal or Cloud? I certainly don't think it's an easier fight, especially since he has to go down to 168.

I agree 100%. Ward isn't exactly a big attraction. His style is kind of negative and he hasn't made a huge name for himself yet. He will as long as he keeps winning.

That could be but I kind of doubt it. Most boxers don't look for low reward, high risk fights.

just because he wants a big profile fight with Ward does not mean he doesn't want to avenge his loss to Pascal

and isn't Pascal fighting Cloud anyways?

it will be way more than that they want in on the Andre Ward business badly and will overpay to get him

Pascal was there to call Dawson out and that's when Dawson told him to sit down with your tight ass jeans

thanks bro been busy with the radio show and Everlast but still check in once in a while

the quality of posts has kind of gone to where people bash each other more rather than debate a point so I lost a bit of interest

yeah Cloud and Pascal are fighting in Canada in August, Dawson wants to fight Ward in Sept and if he is successful he wants Pascal on US soil
