arum deserves some of the blame of course but putting the entire blame on him has become a comfort zone for floyd fanatics to veer away the blame from their idol.

if a fight does not happen between 2 fighters, especially at floyd's and pac's level, it's the fighters who should get the blame first before the promoters. this is not a case of upstart fighters who basically can't say no to their promoters.

Also that isn't the only time the Margarito fight could have happened, but good job using the Oscar fight, one that was at the tail end of Floyd's Top Rank career, as an excuse.

Speaking of excuses, if Arum isn't Floyd's promoter, how does that impact Floyd's guarantee?

You guys have an excuse for everything when at the end of the day, Floyd never fought those guys and used petty excuses for not facing them in their prime.
Its funny how floyd, who was essentially a "b" level HBO star at the time, was somehow at fault for ODH and SHane "toothache" Mosley not fighting floyd when they were prime. Same with cotto. Manny turns down a deal and its floyd's fault.

Bob Arum been doing this long before many of you was probably even following boxing

him kept Kelly Pavlik away from Paul Williams for YEARS, similar to what he is doing with Chavez Jr and Martinez now, it was excuse after excuse or he would make offers that he knew Goossen and Paul Williams would not accept then when they would reject it Arum would run to the media and say "WILLIAMS DOESN'T WANT TO FIGHT...WE MADE HIM A OFFER AND HE REFUSED IT"
          ....SOUNDS FAMILIAR?

This is what he does and he will never get called out for it because people in the media (other then Teddy Atlas) acts as if they are afraid of Bob Arum

Your really ****** if you needed Ariza to tell you this, it is OBVIOUS that Arum tries to keep things IN HOUSE!

Credit to Bob for trying to get his fighter tghe moist possible. But that is what is stopping the fight. **** all the bS, run the numbers and split.
The only way Arum could be stopping the fight is if he starts making excuses about cuts and stadiums and what not. And even then, the fight is a no go REGARDLESS as long as Floyd stays on his current position which has nothing to do with Arum. Arum not accepting is the correct thing to do.

it was floyds first demand which is the OST

we all know u know as a floyd groupie that deep down floyd aint changing his stance, he didnt change his stance for 0 day cutt off OST which pac thought for a while and now agreed,
so us talking about which is a fair deal for both is utter useless,

there is only one thing that can make this fight happen, and that is bob agreeing to floyds bulcrap which isnt gonna happen while bob is still alive and FLOYD KNOWS THAT **** from the beggining

floyd aint want this fight periods....
He changed his stance to 24 and 14 days but maybe you forgot that. I guess you have to label me because there is no impartial objective data you have to justify manny getting more than he deserves.

Bob can keep asking for more than his client is worth. That will always keep the fight from happening. Manny should get no more than he is worth.

No one brought up the Oscar and Shane fights. I don't understand why you are Gino bring these up, when at no time did I list these as guys Floyd didn't face in their prime.

Also, are you saying Manny should have taken Floyd's deal of 40 million flat fee with no PPV?

Floyd's **** is so far up your ass that you're trying to argue that promoters haven't stopped fights from happening. Do you know anything about boxing
                  ...at all?

No but he did say if Floyds numbers are bigger than he should get the lion share. I dont think 0% PPV is fair but 60/40 for Floyd is

So go ahead and bring up the same crap from the past when Ariza just said this.

Ur a dumbo by the way? Wow did you come up with that all by yourself? Sounds like something a 4 year girl would say
