marquez in particular never got to fight morales. i haven't heard anyone blame their promoters for not seeing these fights happen. the fighters are blamed most of the time.

But Bob blocked floyd/ODH when floyd was with TR, juanma/gamboa, delayed SRL/Hearns and SRL/Hagler. Could you guys be wrong?

Promoters stopped BHop from getting good fights for years, but none of these kids would know anything boxing 10-15 years ago so I won't even bother explaining because they dont want to learn anyway.

From what I remember, that f*&l, Rock Newman, was a big part of why Lewis/Bowe never happened too. Hatton/Witter could've happened a million times over when that domestic clash was hot, but Frank Warren would never let have let it happen. Just two other exmaples....

In all those cases one or the other fighter didn't want the fight. Hagler would forever blame SRL till his dying days, not his promoter. Juanma didn't want the fight at the time. Same case in the others you mentioned.

I asked for clarity. I buy the fight for the main event, as do most. The direct undercard slot is to build future opponents for the main eventer, not to boost sales.

Apples to apples would be JMM/floyd with pac/jmm 1. Or apples wo apples would be the average of floyd/jmm vs the average of pac/jmm 2 and 3. But if you go jmm3/pac that fine. Then do every other common opponent. Manny still is on the short side.Again we agree its complicated. Thats why I say run the numbers..

lol i'm not even sure if pac-jmm 1 was a ppv...or if it is, not sure if he was the A side. and those fights were at 130 so i'm not even touching that.

The one subjective variable I find interesting is Bob not asking for more than 50%. If manny was bigger, no way Bob accepts less because it cuts into his take. Bob asking for 45-50% suggest to me he knows manny's true worth is in th 35-40% range. But thats just opinion I have no facts to support.

then why bring it up? i'm not even arguing who is the bigger draw here. i concur that floyd is the bigger draw. the question is how much more should floyd gets? pac already agreed to a smaller guarantee...that's not enough for floyd though.
