Had the card had more appealing matchups, I'm sure the numbers would have been better. But, at $70 a buy, and the two main events you pretty much know the outcomes to (even though Cotto gave a hell of a show of himself as did Mosley in not folding up when punched), the low numbers aren't that expected, IMO.

Can't say disappointing as they are still good numbers and it was an entertaining fight, just underwhelming for what many thought it would do.
Maybe 200-400 thousand watch Cotto PPV's.
Floyd brings 1 million ppv by himself.
Add another 50-100 thousand for canelo and you got 1.5

Anyways, this was the first Mayweather PPV ever, to actually advertise an undercard fight in their promotions, fight posters, and commercials. I'm not surprised that Floyd did 1.5Mill with Cotto, that's not the disappointment.
It's that Canelo-Mosley was advertised like a mini main event PPV, and the fight itself actually did have a vibe like it was the main event. Yet, it didn't make the impact on the numbers that I thought it would do. 1.5Mill is something I would be expecting for Floyd to do by himself with no help of an undercard.
