The numbers will probably go higher unless they have got way better at fast counting them which is possible, still 8-10% higher final number is usualy the case from the earliest number in the past~

Just something to keep in mind.

Still, what is really crazy is that Floyd-Ortiz sold the same as Pac-DLH/Cotto and more than Pac-Margarito.

55-45/50-50, both fine by me, I don't care. I doubt either comes off their statements though, they'll probably remain firm, especially Floyd.
What do yo mean by "at least admitting"?

I won't disappoint your prediction. I am disappointed and thought that with the extra Canelo-Mosley co-main event being advertised heavily, it would be close to like 1.8-2Million buys.

What makes me curious is to know how many people actually watched the fight, not homes/HBO PPVs, I mean people. I'm talking about the 20-30 people watching 1 TV, fight parties, the people in the UK who don't have to pay to watch it, the Phillipinos who don't have to pay. The streamers, etc. I would not be surprised at all if 10 million+ people actually watched this fight.

Surely its all a set up for a Mayweather Alvarez fight sometime before Floyd retires. That fight will generate more PPV's than any fight outside of the Pac fight.

However Martinez would do good numbers but I think Alvarez would do better.
If Sergio fights Julio, and then fought Mayweather, I think that fight could do 1 million PPV buys, but not anymore than 1.1-1.2. Simply because a lot of people don't know much about Sergio.

[QUOTE=DoktorSleepless;12114870]I don't think it's necessarily that Mayweather is inherently a bigger draw as much as it's Mayweather having Yes in Buys, But Floyds Ticket Prices are Steeper as well as His PPV Prices. Thats why The $ Generated is always More that Pac.

The result of De la hoya?? Thats only partially correct, De la hoya wouldn't had put out numbers like that with anyone else, Before the Mayweather vs De la hoya fight even happened people didn't really talk about Mayweather fighting De la hoya.. When the fight was announced, Mayweather was the one that truly sold that fight with his undefeated record and his antics.. Both Mayweather and De la hoya deserve equal respect for those number just like Mayweather and cotto deserve equal respect for these numbers..

Have to say a little underwhelmed by these numbers. You have the #1 and #3 PPV draws and all they can manage is 300,000 more than the reported Ortiz numbers? Couple that with Shaefer saying just a few days ago it was trending toward 2mil and it didn't get anywhere close to that.
Can't say disappointing as they are still good numbers and it was an entertaining fight, just underwhelming for what many thought it would do.

                      What is Canelo's biggest PPV?
