I think 60-40 split is too steep as well, but 55-45 wouldn't be wrong, considering Floyd sells more PPV's per fight than Pac, and does better with common opponents. 50-50 is fine too. It's a worthless debate though, because neither are budging.

With Floyd's 32 Garaunteed Plus these type of Numbers, He probably Made a Cool 60 Million From this fight... Ask Pacquiao has he ever made HALF of that in a Fight,LMFAO! With PPV and G'teed Purse Manny has Probably topped Out at 20-25 Million... Floyd is Obviously the Bigger draw holding the Top 3 PPV in revenue generated. 50-50 Doesnt make any business sense what so ever when You look at the Numbers. Mayweather vs Pacquiao Probably makes 150 Million. sPlit that 70-30 and Manny Still Gets 45 Million...Arum is Making 25 Million a Fight off Pac Now. He wants a Peice of that 150 Million, Even though he still owes Floyd $ from The Zab Judah Fight. GTFOH!

Surely its all a set up for a Mayweather Alvarez fight sometime before Floyd retires. That fight will generate more PPV's than any fight outside of the Pac fight.
However Martinez would do good numbers but I think Alvarez would do better.

De La Hoya was coming off a great comeback win against Mayorga when Mayweather beat him. Pacquiao fought De La Hoya after Mayweather just beat him. Mayweather got Hatton when he was undefeated. Pacquiao fought him after Mayweather beat him, which once again made it lose a lot of its luster. Mayweather fought Molsey after his great Margarito win. Pacquiao fought Mosley after his draw against Sergio Mora. Mayweather fought Cotto after avenging his Margarito loss. Pacquiao fought him post Margarito beating. And Pacquiao/Mayweather/Cotto are probably all bigger names than back then.
Pacquiao does have Mayweather beat in their latest PPVs against Marquez though.
Still, what is really crazy is that Floyd-Ortiz sold the same as Pac-DLH/Cotto and more than Pac-Margarito.
55-45/50-50, both fine by me, I don't care. I doubt either comes off their statements though, they'll probably remain firm, especially Floyd.
