Maybe 200-400 thousand watch Cotto PPV's.
Floyd brings 1 million ppv by himself.
Add another 50-100 thousand for canelo and you got 1.5
Hey dummy, even by your flawed logic its a disappointment
      Floyd brings in 1m
Cotto brings in 600k (what he did for the second Margs fight)
Canelo/Mosley brings in 50-100k (that's probably on the low side but we'll go with it)
That still should be 1.65-1.7 mill, aka 1.5 is underwhelming. Not bad or disappointing (though I am sure GBP expected more) but UNDERWHELMING.

Yes.. DD's excuse is that people are paying $70 every time to watch Floyd lose.

        How's that working out?

Pacquiao: 14,468 tickets sold ($14,380,300 gate) PPV: 1.25 million

            vs. Juan Manuel Marquez
Floyd: 12,009 tickets sold ($6,865,250 gate) PPV: 1 million
Pacquiao: 15,498 tickets sold ($11,648,300 gate) PPV: 1.45 million

            vs. Shane Mosley
Floyd: 14,038 tickets sold ($11,032,100 gate) PPV: 1.4 million
Pacquiao: 15,422 tickets sold ($8,882,600 gate) PPV: 1.34 million

            vs. Ricky Hatton
Floyd: 15,488 tickets sold ($10,393,950 gate) PPV: 920,000
Pacquiao: 15,368 tickets sold ($8,832,950 gate) PPV: 850,000

            vs. Miguel Cotto
Floyd: 14,612 tickets sold ($12,000,150 gate) PPV: 1.5 million
Pacquiao: 15,479 tickets sold ($8,847,550 gate) PPV: 1.25 million

Summary: Floyd is the PPV king and a bigger draw at the box office. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. With the 5 same opponents, Floyd has sold more PPV buys than Pacquiao with 4 of them. While Pacquiao does sell more tickets (Marquez, Mosley, Cotto), Floyd is able to sell tickets albeit at much higher prices thus you can say being more of a draw than Pacquiao.

There was a video with some gu who works for the Box Offices there in Vegas who said Floyd tickets are much much much more exspensive than Pac tickets.

You should aos post what they sold with other people.

Pac sold 700K and 1.15 million with Clottey and Margarito. Floyd sold 1.25 million with Ortiz. Floyd also makes money off the theater showings too.

And if you take the average of of the Marquez fights (you should) then The Floyd is 5 for 5.

Because it was The Floyd who made Marquez a crossover name.

Pac sold 400K with Marquez... then Floyd sold 1 million plus.

Floyd Haters wouldn't give him 70 dollars. They would stream it or watch on free TV but there is no way that they would pay 70 bucks to watch something that you don't like
