Seriously, these guys burn at least 4-6000 calories a day, when you are Cotto's size there (big bones) you can't lose anymore weight at a certain point.

Go fight some guy on the street, but you can't eat nothing but crackers for two days. Manny can eat what he wants, as he fights comfortably at 147 don't even sit here and tell me that you can take a punch, give a punch and have better stamina. And it isn't like that is the only thing that has gotten better with Cotto, now that he isn't training himself (like I've been saying for YEARS) his technique and ring intelligence have also gotten back to elite levels. Cotto was BOXING with ****ing Floyd and wasn't getting dominated at those points he had some success. The fact is sure, Manny might pressure Cotto but Cotto doesn't hit like 145 JMM, not at 154. He would have Manny more than thinking about his power, he had Floyd doing it. You don't know **** about boxing.
    thank you for being logical.

Cotto gave pac lots of problems first few rounds, and he looked good until he got HIT.
      Because, they're Pac haters.

Not weight drained, full of confidence, competent trainer, best stamina I have seen from him in who knows how long, AND just coming off the biggest win of his career. Is this even debate? Floyd beat the better version of Miguel.

Everything except for the trainer I think it's debatable. But, it's a fan base thing I suppose.

I don't really get your point here, first of, in the Manny fight Cotto was a career WW who was asked to weigh in at 145lbs for the fight, he was previously weighed in 146lbs for the Clottey fight, so realistically a CW of 145lbs isn't that far to make. And wasn't Mosley just came in a half lbs overweight for the Canelo fight, and the commentators just said it's not really a problem, 30 mins of running on a threadmill in a sweatsuit will do the job, and Mosley also said it's no problem... So i don't really get it when floydiots always claims Cotto was weight drained in the Manny fight, it's just a 1 pound difference from the Clottey fight...

And one more thing i have to point out, this ****** claims that Cotto gained punch resistance and punch power ever since going up to LMW is being overhyped much much more than it should be... Yes Cotto did gained those going up in weight, but he is also going up against fighters on the same weight, and with some fighters who are much more powerful than he is... So logically in terms of PUNCH RESISTANCE and PUNCH POWER, a Cotto who went up to LMW and fights Floyd who also went up at LMW would be the same as if they fought each other at WW, do you get my logic?? Imagine Manny going up to LMW, won't he be gaining the same amount of power and punch resistance as that of Cotto??!! What i'm getting at is don't bring up the argument that Floyd faced a better Cotto because of Cotto's new found power and punch resistance, when in reality they negate each other when you go up or down the division ladder.... That's why in the Pacquiao vs Margarito fight, there was a big difference in punch power and punch resistance, Manny was 144lbs at the weigh in while Tony was 150, and by fight time, Manny was only 148lbs. while Tony was around 168lbs.

That's why i answered in the poll, it's the same Cotto, Manny may have faced a faster Cotto as compared to the LMW version of Cotto that Floyd have faced, but Floyd became slower too going up to LMW...

Pac v Cotto would be pointless.
Cotto v Martinez / Lara would be a better fight.

the only difference between 145 cotto and 154 cotto that i saw was that 154 cotto kept his cool and had a stronger jab. in all other areas, i thought cotto didn't look that much different.

People will say he was better simply because he put up a closer fight. Thats not how it actually works though.

Doesnt mean hes better, just that the styles matched up better for him. Reality is that while Cotto may have been slightly more weight drained against Pac, he also had more wear and tear against Floyd than he had against Pac.

The reason Pacquiao had an easier time is because he murked him with that left uppercut very early on: Cotto has ALWAYS been weak to left uppercuts with his guard. Not to mention Pacquiao was able to simply push right through his guard because of his punching style, where he gets his power from his legs.

                    Its basically even.

Cotto from the Mosley fight beats the Mayweather and Pacquiao Cottos.

There the same Cotto. He didn't get better when he beat Margarito. Styles make fights.
