Cotto was in no way better. At all. Difference was Pac kept throwing and hitting, whereas Floyd didn't.

Am sure Cotto would argue that he was way better and healthy.

He looked exactly the same to me in both fights. Difference was Pacquiao knocked him down, hurt him, and never stopped throwing. Cotto's best rounds against Floyd were ones where Floyd wasn't very active and laid against the ropes not throwing enough. When he did throw, Floyd basically landed at will, just like Pacquiao.

To whom it may concern. If the weight wasnt a big deal then why didnt Pac fight Cotto at 150 or 154. Obviously Roach and Arum know the truth that coming down to 147 would kill Cotto and at 154 hes as strong as a bull. I also agree that styles make fights and that Pressure fighter have a much better chance because they make Miguel gas out. Fighters with quick hands will always give Cotto problems but add to it pressure and you can see a losing combination for Cotto anywhere in his career. Prime or not.

Because Pac's been saying since the Margarito fight was over that he doesn't want to and isn't looking to fight above 147 ever again? Why can't people understand that?

There are so many FACTS that would be major factors.

            1. Cotto had a REAL trainer last night VS. his friend who had graduated with a degree in sports science and decided to train him. This was a cotto who had real preparation VS. one who literally trained himself at the gym for two months and fought pacquiao.

            2. Cotto fought at his weight class VS. the weigh drained one who fought pac at 145. You can say he had time to gain all you want, but as a boxer i can tell you that cotto literally had nothing in the tank that night VS. pac.

THat fight was 3 years ago. Cotto made weight easly for the Pac fight, although I think he would have fought better had it been at least a 150 catch weight.

You're a Pacman fan that's why you're saying that. It's clear as day that last nights Cotto is better than a 145 Cotto. 1 simple question, if Cotto was no different why a 145lb catchweight?? Also why did Pacman choose Cotto in 2012 but why did he want the fight at 147 with 148 being the highest?? I'll tell you why, because without a weight advantage clearly in Pacman's favor, he gets worked.
