I'm surprised that this poll is so lopsided.

All day. That's why tito never endorsed him. But he supports bum ass JuanMa. Cottos resume ain't far off from trinidads. And we NEVER seen Cotto get his ass handed to him except for the Pac fight. Trinidad got spanked by Hopkins,Winky and RJJ. And was clearly outclassed by dela hoya.

I just can't see Cotto beating Tito.

Tito and its not even close. Trinidads 5th best win is better than Marquez's best win.

People talking about Tito getting a gift against Oscar (which he def did) are also forgetting that Marquez got a gift against faded MAB. MAB really knocked him down and instead it got called a slip and a point was taken from which was crazy.

I like both guys but at least Tito's gift was against a prime fighter, Marquez at that stage of MAB's career should have dominated him.

I say Tito has the better resume.

JMM's W over casa is so underrated... outside the fights with MP, the casamayor fight is /was his best win IMO... casa was quite geriatric by that time but fight time, he was fine and didnt look shot... he was simply outboxed...

but to answer thread, i think tito edges him oh so slightly (as of now)... but who knows what JMM will bring to the table in the future...

This is a difficult one. JMM has three fights that could had gone to him against Pac. But at the same time he was avoided by Morales and Barrera in their prime.

Tito was exciting but has a questionable win against ODLH and losses to Hopkins and Winky.

They about even for what they did individually in a different fashion

Not to mention he should have 1-2 wins over Pacquiao, as well as wins over Norwood and John on there.

Marquez is a HOF fighter and ATG.

It's really close, could go either way though.

Trinidad had wins over Camacho, Campas, Carr, Whitaker, De La Hoya, Vargas, Joppy, and Mayorga. To be fair though, Whitaker wasn't a good fight at that point. The last time Pernell was a good fight the Oscar fight 2 years prior to that.

If you give it to Marquez, than you are taking into account that he was robbed against Norwood and John, and should have at the very least one win over Pacquiao.
Barrera and Casamayor were at the end of their careers on the top. Good fights but not what they could had been a few years prior if they could had fought

The side stepped the crap away from Marquez. Why you think Marquez don't want to give a fight to Morales now that he is at the top. Payback
