Leonard fought only the best and never ducked anybody. But w that being said. Stop w the bs that a welterweight back then is different from one these days is ******. 147 is 147. 154 Is 154. And so on and so on. If u ask me they're all the same. And if srl ever fought fmj it might b one of the greatest fights we ever see. I think Floyd will stand his ground. I believe that's a thread in its own. Who will win. I c it 50/50

He would have beaten both Floyd and Pacquiao at WW, still unfair as 147 isn't their best weight. It's like Hopkins saying he would have beaten both Leonard and Hearns at 160, I mean that's something most would expect to happen.

it was a close bout even with the knockdowns benitez gave leonard fits and i still believe the stoppage was early it was only 6 seconds left.

having said that i hate comparing todays fighters with the past. so many things you have to factor in making cases on who wins. and if your gona take floyd and plug in the late 70's to the 80's gotta take away the current technogly and medicine and recovery **** boxers used today that they didnt have in those days. plus the #5,6 contenders for titles then were legit boxers that can win now idk wtf they are. but i do believe he would of been champion without doubt he just wouldnt have the 0 at the end of his record

btw for all you wannabe fans. at 130-135 camacho beats floyd. money has never EVER seen hand speed like that in his life. didnt call him the fastest handed in boxing for nothing. dude was a killa and had pop at those weight classes. still today i havent seen that kinda handspeed on fighter like camacho maybe pacman i believe hector is faster. im not gona mention the man roy jones jr that hand speed was on another world

Yep both Manny and Floyd are too small for those guys , they would blast Manny into oblivion it would be Hearns type Duran face plant for Manny and Floyd could possibly survive because of his boxing genius but Manny would have no chance .

man--whatever--of course people are going to say this? it don't mean ****---the hate for floyd is uncaany but who cares--he competes in any era and becomes a top fighter in any era, period...the kid has never lost--never been officially knocked down and hearns, hagler, duran and srl all have lost and been knocked down--so stop with this--floyd told srl one time that srl wouldn't be a top 10 fighter in floyd's era and floyd said this to srl himself, not an interview---floyd is possible the most skilled fighter overall in the history of the sport, meaning every era----

we don't know what would have happened---and floyd sr is nowhere near floyd jr so get the hell out of here---

floyd honed his skills much better than his father ever did--he focused more and adapted better but of course floyd sr taught floyd his stuff, but it took floyd jr. to master it----

SRL and Hearns wouldnt have knocked out Pac, as no one has even though he has been hit.

They would have knocked out FLoyd or won big decisions over Floyd though.

Manny gets sparked in the first round by Hearns, about 10 seconds into the fight. Hearns v Duran x10000. Hearns vs Floyd would be a better fight for a while, but Hearns would get KO by mid fight as Floyd wouldn't find a way to land enough shots.

Leonard KOs Pac in 4. Leonard vs Floyd would be more competitive. I rate old fighters above current in general, but I really think Floyd is that skilled. However he wouldn't beat SRL, possibly get knocked out in 9.
