    Pryor was not.
Thank you. The notion that Ray avoided Pryor, but was more than willing to fight Hearns-Duran-Hagler-Benitez, is so played out. Pryor wanted too much money, that much has been proven. I would have loved to see Ray kick Pryor's a$$ though.

I think SRL would UD over Floyd & PAC... Maybe even KO PAC, but the hit man would no doubt KO both.

Floyd isn't even a natural WW, is tiny at SWW, can you imagine him at MW???

Leonard was a full fledge WW from day one. It's like comparing if Roy Jones (the version that fought Hopkins at 160) and Ray Leonard fought at 160 or something. Obviously Leonard was capable ot fighting at 160, he beat Marvin Hagler there, one of the greatest MW's of all-time. It's still unfair to compare the Roy Jones that beat Hopins at 160, to the Leonard that beat Hagler at 160. Leonard was nowhere near a natural MW, and Roy was even big for 160 at that time he fought Hagler, and went to SMW less than 2 years later.
Floyd skilled enought to compete @ 154 in today's era.

Bring him to the 154 era of Hearns or Norris and chances are..............?

This thinking is what stirs the **** in boxing forums.

whats with these small at welterweight, small at middleweight crap you are spewing? If you compete at Welterweight, you are a Welterwight, If you decide to compete at Middleweight, YOU better prepare to be classified a MIDDLEWEIGHT... Whats the point?

thats like saying its ok for Floyd not to fight Pac because he wanted too much money. Pryor had the big fights with AA and he had a solid name also. SRL couldve easily satisfied him while still getting the much bigger share if he wanted. Styles make fights and he already had hell with the smaller Duran so maybe he didnt want to go through that again

what do your eyes tell you? Its simple as that. Obviously Floyd & Pac wouldnt have been at those weights back then but that doesnt diminish anything.

Leonard never ducked Pryor if anything it was the other way around...Oh legendary nights, all the fans that they fooled.

Also Pryor didn't take the Duran fight when he had the chance either. It is what it is.

Leonard KO'd a prime Wilfredo Benitez, he'd land shots on Floyd, believe that.
