I think that's the big issue here.

The comparison I'm making w/ Pac and Floyd is the money. Ray offered Pryor the fight and he turned it down because he wanted more money. So in relation, one can't call Ray scared then say Floyd isn't scared if we're going by the same logic. Pryor chose to go on to fight Arguello, which in itself was a controversial fight (pink drink).

Floyd and Pac's legacies are fine without eachother.

I agree they'll both be hall of famers regardless, but there's no doubt there'll be an empty hole if they don't fight and anytime both guys' names are brought up in the future that potential fight will always be brought up. It doesn't necessarily destroy their legacies, but no doubt leaves a bit of a question mark.

floyd mayweather has spoken. it's about self-preservation. he might end up like ali. nothing you and i can do about.

people should stop talking about legacies, spirit of the sport, pleasing the fans, the challenge of beating the best and all that. none of that matters to mr floyd. if it does, this fight would have happened a long time ago.

Its crazy how the Floydboyz will turn on and attack ANYONE who says anything other than positive things about Floyd. Even someone as great as SRL who is a boxing icon just because he is speaking the truth.

In all honesty, its both Floyd and Arum who have prevented this fight from happening. Pac seems all for it and has went on record several times to say that he wants to fight Floyd. Floyd has created roadblock after roadblock while Arum pretends to want it only to match Pac against someone else all the while milking Pac for all he's worth before pitting him against Floyd. Floyd's call out via twitter was all smoke and mirrors. How are you going to call someone out like Pac then say that they cant have any of the ppv revenue? LOL.

I spoke to Pryor's wife and Leonard and Pryor had great sparring sessions. In one particular 3 rounder, Leonard won 2 rounds, Pryor the first, then Leonard the second, then Leonard had Pryor hurt in the third. But neither guy was ever badly hurt. They were are are the best of friends.

And as far as Hagler, Leonard knew it was then or never. It was Leonard who was the smaller guy it was Leonard who was the one who had not fought for almost 2 years. The odds were stacked against him. Leonard took a huge risk and shined.

wake up dude. if a boxer wants to fight another boxer, no one, even god can stop him from doing so. ax hagler. he succintly said if you want to fight someone you just fight him. you even go to his house and fight him in his living room. hagler never blamed anyone but leonard. same thing with srl.

wake up. you don't dump tons of roadblocks in a fight you want to see happen. that's something even the dumbest people on earth would find dumb.
