Its good to see that Oleg has had a recent career resurection and I'm happy for him, but lets get real, he does not deserve a shot at any title!

I agree with Bozo, wow thats like the 10th time in a row, great minds think alike eh Bozo!!!

        What rules?

        The WBC rules?

The fact that you seem to think they ever held any credibility in the 1st place seems to be the thing that bewilders me the most.

        Again:

Oleg Maskiev has no busniess with a top ten ranking, and him in the title picture makes things worse, not better.

I doubt it seriously, plus what facts have you to back up such a bold claim?

I agree with you Bozo, that everyone should ignore the Sanc. bodies and lead a great revolution against the powers that be, but I was just looking at from the actual fighters standpoint.

They're paying all these fees, fighting who they are told, then just getting ****ed. I love the sport and hate where its gone. And as screwed as we feel as fans, it seems that the fighters themselves are getting ****ed even harder.

            Yea, ****'em all, WBA,WBC,etc...

No, Maskaev didnt deserve a shot. But did Golota, Williamson, Toney, and so on.

This whole thing just pissed me off even more.

Its starting to look like only DK fighters are "worthy" of title fights.

That's just crazy to make a bold statement like that just because you lifted weights. If you use you are cheating.

Well how do you know that it represented all the weightlifters in the world? I'm sure that you are fairly accurate, and I'm sure a great number do, but see what I'm getting at? How do you know for sure?

And from there how can you apply the logic that all athletes in all sports use roids. I played hockey for 14 years and Junior B hockey( a very elite level of hockey) for three years in Canada and no one I ever knew used steroids except for one guy.

                    The answer CLEARLY is no.
Man, come on. I can't argue with the fact that Maskaev is not all that. But answer this honestly: Does Rahman deserve to be in the top ten? Moreover, does he deserve to hold the WBC belt?

obviously, i do not know for sure -- i am just stating my opinion, which may well be wrong (!); my opinion is based on personal experiences and the coverage in the media (for instance, russian sports media, which can all be very pessimistic)
