James Toney should be way above Ruiz, and I think is better than Byrd.

James Toney lost major credit with me, and I'm not a hater.

        That's a joke.

Take a look at Maskiev's record and tell me why he's in there.

        http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=006688

Was it the win over Sam?

Was Sam on that list before his loss to Oleg?

        Come on.

Maskiev's reccent record is brutal. There's no one on it that has been anywhere near the top ten.

It's now clear why you made this thread and continued to argue about it.

There's enough crap in there. The last thing we need is the WBC saying Maskiev deserves to be in there, and the IBF with Ray Austin ranked at #2.

What the sanctioning bodies say is not relevent. It's what's been holding everything back.

Well, it seems that WBC did a reasonable thing: let Toney be the mandatory first and then let Maskaev get his shot next.

You again miss the point of the why the thread was even started, Maskaev fought the #1 while he was #2. Maskaev won the fight declaring the mandatory spot, Toney comes in and just takes the mandatory and Maskaev was again moved back to the #2 spot. Thread's called Maskaev getting screwed.

No, we dont' need to stick to FOUR seperate crooked sanctioning bodies making BOGUS fights.

If Wlad fights Brewster, Ray Austin becomes Chris Byrd's mandatory.

Should we all be subjected to that in the interest of 'sticking to it'?

Seriously, what is wrong with some of you?

              Forget the ABC sanctioning bodies.

It's a pretty clear concensus of the top Heavyweights being the title holders, Toney and Wlad.

There's enough poor fights in there to tie up another full year.

Why on earth would we want to watch them all fight JOKES of fights before they get around to fighting eachother?

              Come on.

                because of steroids?

No, you're still missing the point.

The only ones who have been screwed are the FANS who've had to put up with all this BS for way too long.

                    The bottom line is simple:

Oleg Maskiev has no busniess with a top ten ranking, and him in the title picture makes things worse, not better.

Now it's not happening, and you're making it seem like that's a bad thing.

Snap out of it. You're missing the big picture.

Just as long as you know that the rules are being broken right before your very eyes.
