Like I said before, Maskaev fought for and won the #1 ranking in the wbc and now he is gettine screwed. He is going to sue the wbc into bankruptcy and I hope he does. This is the only way to stop promoters from buying title shots. It doesn't matter what you think of Toney or Maskaev! He followed the wbc's rules and paid the sanctioning fee and they screwed him. Open and shut case. Maskaev deserves his shot and Toney can wait a few months for the winner.

          More crying.

Stuff like this happens all the time with these bogus ABC sanctioning bodies.

The bottom line is that Maskeav doesn't deserve a title shot, it's a waste of everyone's time, and Toney is the man everyone wants to see.

The amount of people that are here feeling sorry for Maskeav is absurd.

What about the fans of the Heavyweight division who shell out money for live gates and PPV that constantly have their time wasted watching guys who have no business being in the picture.

          Snap out of it.

Toney is the better fighter, and a fight between he and Rahman is better for the division as a whole.

So you are saying that Maskaev fighting Rahman is a waste of time and Maskaev has no shot? Maskaev is going to ko Rahman within 5 rounds! It isn't crying you prick! It is the right thing to honor their rules. I hope Maskaev puts the wbc out of business.

And no Toney isn't the fight that everyone wants to see... obviously! People want to see Rahman doing superman again!

I keep bringing this up and you keep ignoring it, so I'll say it one more time:
Is there any HW out there today who is worth $50 to watch? As far as I am concerned, there is no dif between watching Maskaev or Byrd or Ruiz or Rahman. Brewster is the only exception of the "Leftovers Champions".

Then why even sanction the Maskaev vs Sam fight as a #1 contender fight?? It's false advertisment is what it is and the WBC should be sued.

Yes there is, and it's a no brainer.

Wheather you like it or not, Byrd and Ruiz have had their titles for some time.

I've said this over and over: Just because you think the current title holders are ****ty doesn't mean we should throw in another 4 ****ty fighters into the mix.

Right now, wheather you like them or not, the top fighters can universally be agreed upon as those that hold the titles, Toney and Wlad.

Throwing in an undeserving guy like Maskaev does NOTHING prodcutive for the division.

They guys that are at the top now need to fight eachother, and that's it.

I really don't see how some of you find this so difficult to understand.

Maskaev is deserving because he knocked Rahman out of the ring and by the wbc's own rules, he earned the #1 ranking wheather you like it or not.

If you have 4 pounds of **** and mix it with 4 pounds of strawberry jam, you will get 8 pounds of ****. All I am saying is that the current "Champions" are so bad that throwing anybody in there will not make a difference. So what if they fight each other? So you'll get one champion (designated by Don King, btw.). So Byrd (for example) will become an undisputed HW champion of the world. Doesn't it sound pathetic to you? I understand your point but IMO even if it all goes down by your scenario, the division will be just as ****ty as it was. I think we are talking about the same thing but approach it from the opposite sides.
