If Martinez has KO'ed 3 straight MW's, how is he "TOO SMALL" to fight @168?

knockouts come from timing and form, not power

well it can come from power, but that's not the main component

There's nothing stopping him from going in that weight, if he wants to make a statement but i still think he's too small.

Exactly....this guy doesn't seem to get that. Hes going round in circles trying to make a point without actually having one or knowing wtf he's talking about.

again, it's all business calling out pacquiao. who DOESN'T want to fight a PPV star?

Martinez wants to fight Ward, and vice versa

Martinez said that he would consider fighting Ward, who is contracted to Showtime, "at a catchweight," according to his advisor, Sampson Lewkowicz.

"I don't know about the 168 pounds, but it's an option," said Martinez. "That would be a spectacular fight."

I dont know how anyone can question sergio's character. He's done nothing but show it.

              You have no point....
sergio is the name in this situation so why does he have to fight at 166 or 168?when was the last time manny pacquiao agreed to anyones demands?you know why manny doesn't agree to anyones demands because he is the name/draw so if you want to fight him besides floyd mayweather you have to do what he says but no one seems to have a problem with that but yet ***** about sergio

But Ward also tweeted last year that a move down to 160 pounds for a big-money fight "would be tough, but not impossible. But very tough!"

“My response to a matchup with Sergio Martinez is pretty short and sweet,” s “I like it. Hopefully the fight can be made.”

So Martinez said its "an option" to fight Ward at a catchweight. What does this prove exactly?

Since when has posing a Question been considered being critical?

Sergio Martinez 5'10 -75 inch reach

Chavez jr. 6'0- 73 inch reach

                    Bute 6'1- 72 inch reach

                    Ward 6'0- 71 inch reach
That's a testament to how great Pacquiao is, it doesn't mean that he isn't significantly smaller than everyone he fights.

Sergio is also 37 already, his body has settled into what it's going to set in to.

This stuff is really so much more simple than you'e tryign to make it. Bute, Ward, and even Chavez Jr are each significantly larger men then Martinez. It's not debatable. Martinez is as much of a MW as Floyd or Cotto are JMW's.

Ok if Ward is willing to come to 160 and Sergio doesnt fight him, THEN you have a point.
