That means that as it is now, Ward is on average, 14 to 15 pounds heavier than Martinez is on fight night, not to mention that Ward is 6 foot tall while Martinez is 5 ft 9in or 5 ft-10 in. Martinez even had a smaller frame than Macklin did and it was clearly visible in the ring.
I applaud Pac for being able to fight in all these different classes but he has been doing it with catchweights and I think WW is the highest he should go in weight.
Another thing is that in the lower weight classes the pound difference between classes isn't as big as when you jump up in weight. You are comparing jumps of 3 and 4 pounds to 7 pounds per class over 3 classes.....that's like saying that 12 pounds is the same as 21 pounds....which obviously, is not the case.
