Nobody wanted Mayweather-Mosley initially infact Mosley was supposed to be fighting Berto who pulled out due to the earthquake in Haiti and while everyone was waiting to see if the mega-fight can be made, Pacquiao announced the opponent first which was Clottey. Now do you want Floyd to wait. Mosley was available therefore they made the fight.

I don't get that why you want to compare Mayweather-Pacquiao to Mayweather-Mosley.

The real comparison should be between Pacquiao-Clottey and Mayweather-Mosley and you know which is the superior out of them.

Wouldn't Manny be considered too small for WW which is his 7th weight class? MW is only Martinez 3rd weight class.

JMW is Mayweathers 5th weight class.

Martinez may be able to fight at 168 but if he doesn't do it, you need to respect his wishes. Not everyone can go from division to division.

He knows his limits better than anyone. He fought at 147 then 154 and now 160 ... after he trains, his weigh-in weight is below 160 .... so that counts more than his walking weight ....

I'm not sure why people feel the need to have fighters go up divisions when they don't want. If Martinez tries, great for him but if he doesn't, he doesn't!
