i'm wrong but sergio was 22 going on 23 in 2 months.point is pacquioa started fighting at 16 and was a young kid so obviously he would go thru a bunch of weight classes being that he started fighting as a young boy and floyd and sugar ray were boxing for the majority of their life so the art of making weight and or moving up in weight is nothing to them where as sergio had to learn everything from the age of 22-23 and most fighters be it mma or boxing will tell you the hardest thing about fighting is making or cutting weight properly

Sorry he was 22 then. Far cry from 27.

Then Sergio should just stay at MW and stfu about not getting paid. Dude is getting paid just fine.

This has nothing to do with Floyd. I don't hate Sergio but his constant crying is getting annoying. No one owes him anything and Floyd and Pacquiao are not his charities.

Pacquiao was the best available opponent at 147.

That is a sad thing man. I remember when guys were remembered for dominating this or that weight class for their careers..i.e.,Calzaghe did in the SMW and Hopkins in the MW division. Now days if a guy doesn't replicate Henry Armstrong's career, they are not good or something or their careers were failures.

I mean the dude started at 147 and is fighting about 15 pounds north of that and Pac is fighting about 25 pounds from where he started. Pac was also starving himself to make those weights back in the day and it cost him a couple times. I just can't get behind that notion that a person "has to" move up in weight on a continual basis in order to prove his worth, regardless of whether we are talking about Martinez or any other boxer.
