And why chase paper titles the real fans know who are the best fighters, guess Floyd ain't interested in fighting them though.

But why make excuses for Floyd not taking this fight?

You don't want to see this fight happen?
They don't. They always whine about Pac and others not fighting the best and when their idol is presented with the chance of fighting the best they're all terrified for it. I want Pac to fight Martinez at 154. It's up to Pac to come at 148 or less at weigh in if he can't make the weight limit. But to object to this fight because you don't want to see him lose, like Floyd fanboys do, is pathetic.

They should be grabbing the opportunity and promote it, instead of shying away from it.

Floyd already said Canelo has to get some big wins before he consider fighting him and that he don`t want no fighter trying to get a easy payday from him with out earning it.And Pac would never fight Canelo cause Canelo would not allow himself to be weight drained.

And you say many fans, are you kidding yourself? Many fans do not know who the hell Martinez is. He's so unknown that the infamous Larry Merchant, one of Mayweather's greatest haters, said that Martinez would be lucky to get a 10% purse for fighting Floyd. Many fans do NOT want to see Mayweather vs. Martinez.

Many fans (and I'm talking about the millions of casual fans) want to see Mayweather vs. Pacquaio, and that's it.
Yes it is a high risk fight, but is that an resonable excuse from a boxer who claims he is the best that there has ever been?

There is already a thread about that, post there if you want to talk about that. Stick to the topic.

If he can`t get Pacquiao next then yes.If he gets Pacquiao next then i would like for him to fight Martinez at 154 or 160 after. And Floyd already said that he`s considering going to 160 one day so he might fight Martinez at 160 for his middleweight title.

Well I agree with you, I think Floyd should fight Pacquiao and Martinez, should he beat Cotto.

Don't think he will fight Martinez at 160lbs though, but I could see him beating Sturm at 160lbs.
