    ****in Idiots .....

When you guys are walkin down the street and bums are asking for money, do you reach deep and pull out a wad or just blow them off. Floyd is being begged for a fight by every tom, **** and harry in boxing trying to make some major bank ... how in the **** is he avoiding any of them.

He's not begging them ... they're begging him.

For some strange reason Dibella won't let Sergio fight Pirog because he "cannot speak a word of English" and won't let Sergio fight Golovkin because "He's never fought on US soil" ... these are quotes from the BS video archives.

So, its OK for Sergio to avoid both Pirog & Golovkin, for such silly and ****** reasons, but its NOT OK for a WW, who is giving fighter's their biggest paydays to weight his options.

I state again: ****in Idiots .....

Why mention Pacquiao, this thread is about Mayweather and Martinez, and Pacquiao is a small 147lbs fighter.

Has never fought at 154lbs and wanted to fight Cotto at the welterweight limit of 147lbs.

      Cotto wanted the catchweight.

A true boxing fan would want to see this fight, should Mayweather beat Cotto, why make excuses for it not to happen?

But do you really think Floyd takes any interest on what his detractors say about him when choosing an opponent?

Do you think he should take the Martinez fight?
        Without a doubt...

            Wrong, Pacquiao wanted the catchweight.

Also- I would rather see Martinez/Chavez or Martinez/Golovkin next.

Exactly. Martinez is treating Floyd like a charity.

Pacquiao is about 5-7lbs lighter naturally than Mayweather and Mayweather is about 5-7lbs lighter naturally than Martinez.

Martinez might have about an 8lbs weight advantage over Floyd if they fight at 154lbs.

Is that too much for Floyd.

But kudos on another excuse Floyd might use.

Yes, Martinez would do exactly that! Why? Because it would give him a definite edge in the fight. De La Hoya came into the fight with Mayweather, weighing over 170 lbs. Victor Ortiz rehydrated around 17 lbs within a day, giving him around a 14-15 lbs size advantage over Mayweather.

This would be Martinez's biggest fight -- there is no way in the world he wouldn't do it. Only a fool would think that Martinez would overweight Floyd by 8 lbs. De La Hoya outweighed Floyd by more than that. Shane Mosley outweighted Floyd by more than that! Victor Ortiz outweighed Floyd by more than that. And these are all Welterweight fighters. What in the world you think is going to happen when a legitimate full Middleweight steps into the ring? Martinez is going to be HUGE! He will weight more than what Ortiz, Mosley, Dela Hoya did.

You can't possibly be that blind.

Jabs don't count in boxing should've been an option.

Gaby Penagaricano, the legal adviser to WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto, spoke to BoxingScene.com about the issue of weight - which in the end was breaking point in a possible rematch with Manny Pacquiao. On Wednesday, Floyd Mayweather Jr. officially announced that he was fighting Cotto on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Cotto said he wouldn't go down past 150.
