Tszyu lost and Floyd fought Ricky Hatton in 07', oh well) or Margarito, oh well. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Manny end up not fighting Zahir Raheem after he beat Morales??? Also, didn't he end up not fighting Joan Guzman at 130??? And Andre Berto in 2010/early 2011??? And Victor Ortiz in 2011???

I even remember seeing posts on this site before I was registered here, back in April/May 2011, with people saying "Ortiz vs. Pacquiao, great fight, hope it gets done. The 2 highest rated WW's and Ortiz just whupped Berto's a$$", as well as other posts along the lines of "Floyd will never fight Victor Ortiz after he just whupped Berto. He's way too much of a risk." Floyd comes off a 16 month layoff to fight Ortiz fresh off the Berto win, and it's Floyd "cherry picking" a "green" fighter???? Ortiz at 24 coming off a huge win, was still green and a cherry pick??? Ridiculous.

The same goes for people trying to s**t on the Bradley fight. To me, Pac gets as much credit for beating Bradley as Floyd did for Hatton, a really really good win. Bradley is Pac's first prime opponent since Solis, his best opponent selection since JMM in 08', and his first actual legit opponent selection since Cotto.
More great points my friend. Green k!

Martinez was scathing about Pacquiao, saying the Filipino did not deserve to be considered the world's best.

'I don't know when the last time was that Pacquaio took on one of the best pound-for-pound fighters,' Martinez said. 'Marquez today is not the fighter he was five years ago. I just need one chance, one fight against either one of them (Pacquiao or Mayweather). I think I deserve to be where I am.'

He might have, but on paper he lost, last time I checked that's the only thing that counts. If you wanna play the technical card, Sergio hasn't lose since 2000.
