Well Martinez has set up a charity/foundation to help/raise the profile of women who suffer domestic violence.

Maybe that is the reason why Floyd won't take the Martinez fight, because Sergio goes against everything Mayweather believes in.

Who knows. Martinez needs to stay at 160 though and quit being such a greedy douche and fight the top guys.

Since when did it be OK for every fighter to act like Floyd and only want big money fights? I thought guys like you hated that about Floyd?

This would be Martinez's biggest fight -- there is no way in the world he wouldn't do it. Only a fool would think that Martinez would overweight Floyd by 8 lbs. De La Hoya outweighed Floyd by more than that. Shane Mosley outweighted Floyd by more than that! Victor Ortiz outweighed Floyd by more than that. And these are all Welterweight fighters. What in the world you think is going to happen when a legitimate full Middleweight steps into the ring? Martinez is going to be HUGE! He will weight more than what Ortiz, Mosley, Dela Hoya did.

You can't possibly be that blind.
Why tell lies, or are you just ignorant to the facts.

You try putting on 21lbs in 36 hours and see how you feel. If Martinez want to be slow, sluggish, lack stamina and have cramp this is the way to do it.

Cotto said he wouldn't go down past 150.
However, Pacquiao, who wanted to face Cotto on June 9th, also at the MGM Grand, was demanding the rematch take place at the welterweight limit of 147.

Quoted from the link you posted, guess you were wrong. Don't worry it not the first time and it won't be the last time.

Fighting Paul Spadafora can also be deemed high-risk with very little to no reward. It does not make business sense, just like the Martinez fight makes little business sense. Mayweather would be better off fighting Margarito because at the very least, that makes more business sense.

The fight that makes the most business sense is the Pacquaio fight. And that is the only fight that the general fans really want to see. Whenever people talk to Pacquaio, they ask about Mayweather. Whenever people talk to Mayweather, they ask about Pacquaio. Not Martinez. People don't know who the hell he is.

So Floyd is not a tough fight for Martinez just a big money one.

Quite a surprising view coming from you.

Spadafora? high risk for Floyd, guess you don't think much of Floyd then.

Martinez vs Mayweather will do around 1.4m PPV buys much more than the Ortiz fight.

Guess Floyd don't want $40m and legacy

Martinez has a great jab, but his straight left is better, maybe that is the true reason why Floyd won't take the fight.

I think Floyd wins the fight easy. Martinez' talents are maximized at 160 and he needs to fight there and stop picking on the little guys
