PacMan would die if he fought Martinez. Pac is going to want to trade punches Martinez is stronger and just as fast as Pac. One big bomb from Martinez and Pac will be seeing stars. Pac needs to be beat Bradley first but that aint going to happen.

At 150 I'd pick manny to beat him. 154 is 50/50 for me. Sergio is overrated as ****. I wish dude would get called out for these soft azz touches like other fighters do. Nobody wants him to fight bute or ward but manny or Floyd should fight him.

I don't think the current version of Manny can beat Martinez. Why?

Aside from Sergio being too big, and the fact that hanging with a legit MW is pushing it too far, Manny lost that killer instinct we know of him.

But if Manny can bring it back, here's how he'll beat Martinez.

He'll use the in-out movement to the hilt, throwing a buncha punches to keep Sergio and his jab from a distance, he'll use laterals to protect his mid section from Sergio's body shots, and everytime Sergio tries to walk him down, he'll simply slip sideways from him and throw shots at angles Sergio wouldn't catch at blinding speed (just like what Dela Hoya got himself into). And knowing how ****y Martinez is putting those hands down, he'll never know what hit him and how fast those hits were.

But sadly, that Manny of old may not ever come back, he's more of a compassionate wuss right now.

And if ever Sergio catches him with what Margarito threw at him at that 6th rd when his hands got entangled thru the ropes, then it's game over.

Let's see if he still has that instinct when he faces Bradley this June.

Coz in my opinion only one fight for Manny is where it will all come back, and everyone knows who it is for, that's why the other side knew it and had self preservation as their flavor of the month.

You're using the Mosley example. But also bear in mind that a boxer with movement is different from a boxer riding his bike after feeling an opponent's power.

However Pac can chase him down, but for some reason didn't, and he's not like that before.

That's why I stated lately Pac has lost that hunger, if t'was like of old Pac circa MAB, EM, the early JMM fights and Dela hoya where Pac was relentless in chasing opponents, then it's a given.

Since after the Marg fight onto Mosley and lately JMM, Pac seemed to lax, not his usual thirsty for action. I dunno why.

I used Mosley because that was a downright horrible performance by Mosley which Pacman couldn't capitalize on. Martinez is light years better at movement of offense than that incredibly limited man.
